Q: I added Descartes Systems on a pull back a few weeks back. I am surprised, but not concerned,, that it has been so volatile. After I bought a small position it quickly went up more than 10 per cent and this week I am back in the red. Is this type of movement normal for DSG? Has somehting changed at DSG or is just getting pushed up and down because it is part of a number of ETFs? I would like to add to the position but first I would like for 5i to let us members know if something has changed with DSG.

Q: Your thoughts on Bread Financial ? Seems like they made money every quarter last year and at a PE of 3.4 times it seems compelling. Very little info around on this one ....

Q: Hi 5I gang
I just want to confirm that thru this "risk on" period which will sustain for the foreseeable future, I am doing the correct thing by "holding" as opposed to "selling" these growth stocks.

Q: I need to lighten up on techy/growth stocks and replace with more defensive/value names. Of this list, are there any you would sell? If not, and if I wanted to sell something anyway, in what order would you suggest selling? Thank you.
Q: For a very un-promotional Company, EcoSynthetix stock continues to climb now trading at 10-year highs with increasing daily volumes. With revenues rising, it seems the potential for their green adhesive products is real given they have commercial accounts with major companies. Your thoughts?
Q: GSY seems to run out of steam in the last year, while WCP seems to have revived in the same period. Do you recommend a switch of GSY to WCP? Thanks.
Q: Good morning,
I want to harvest the tax loss on this one but don't want to miss the upside although the market reversal seems unlikely in the short term in this market. Thinking of LSPD as a temporary replacement or should I keep LSPD?
Thanks for everything!

Q: Hi 5i,
Looking for additional exposure in the semi-conductor market. I currently already have a 3% weighting in NVDA. I am looking to potential start a position in AMD or INTC.
Your previous answers to questions suggest you favour AMD (after NVDA) given the companies recent execution.
However, INTC seems to be turning a corner with there plans to build new plants in Arizona in the next few years and change in management. Based on its current valuation (cheap compared to AMD) the current tailwinds of 'on shoring' it seems to me a compelling buy compared to AMD.
Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Appreciate all you do.

Q: With this announcement what would you expect in terms of stock performance going forward if approved? Would you have concerns with this if you were an investor? Long term I believe this best of breed company will be fine but if the stock price will drop a fair bit I would rather add at lower levels. I feel like this is a pretty big dilution but what is your opinion? Thanks

Q: 5i income portfolio holds about 2% SYZ. Would you be comfortable starting a full 5% position, if SYZ is bought below $10? Thanks
Q: Hello 5i,
Would appreciate you thoughts on GOOG growth for the next 5-10yrs.
Your past answers to questions state that you view this company's valuation as 'cheap' and its cloud services and Waymo as catalysts for greater growth.
However, I can't reconcile that against a potential recession scenario in the next few years were ad revenue could decrease and potential anti trust cases being brought against it.
Thank you,
Greg

Q: Hi
In response to David's question today, you said that mega-cap tech is a sector that should perform well in recessionary environments. can you give some examples of stocks or ETFs. Also, you recommended consumer staples. Would you be comfortable buying consumer staples at these high prices?
thanks for your help

Q: 1. Dana Inc.(DAN) - I'm struggling with this one... seems like a great company, winning awards,etc
- I don't see negative news releases for the most part. Most are positive in nature
- Seems like a bit of a sleeper in the investment community with little attention...
- I would like your opinion on whether a buy more, hold or sell... I am currently in at around $24 and stock is at $15
2. Lightspeed - I know you are constantly bombarded with questions on this one, But my cost base is 95 CDN and 65 US in various accounts
- What price would you be comfortable buying at, in the current environment to average down , catch a falling knife??
- I heard negative news/opinions on CNBC this week with regards to payment related stocks, but I'm thinking contrarian at this point...
- Am I Nuts? or should I hold on ...?
Thanks in advance,
M

Q: With all the supply chain issues, and supply chain management being KXS specialty why was the stock flat in 2021, and down 2022. Supply chain issues persist, KXS does not appear to be capitalizing. Will revenue and share price improve through this year? I know it has been mentioned they have lumpy earnings but the conditions for their products should be very strong.
What am I missing on KXS?
Thank you, Mike
