Q: Hi 5i.

I have studiously avoided investing in tech companies, largely as a result of not taking an interest in/understanding their businesses. (This is similar to my reason for never investing in crypto, which I can see only as a load of hogwash.)

With the recent drawback in tech prices, I now have some interest in putting some money into a couple of tech stocks that have a good growth outlook in the near- and mid-term. With that as the goal, simply some growth over the next few months or year, what 2-3 names, Canadian or American, would you suggest? (NB: I am thinking of putting no more, and probably less, than 10% of my portfolio into this play.)

Thanks for your help.

Q: good evening,

I have tax losses that I can harvest on these 2 companies but, I don't want to miss the boat if the market turns. What are the best proxies you can recommend or should I hold?

Thanks!

Q: I have TTD, PLTR, NVDA, PLTR, NVDA, CRWD, APPS, UCTT, CELH, AFRM, MTTR, UPST, VEEV, in my US account, and LSPD, SHOP, EGLX, TIXT in my Canadian (and holdings in other sectors, but these are the holdings in question). I don't need to sell anything, but don't have new funds to deploy in the low market. I had a lot of positions in tech going in and already thinking about consolidating the sector when the market turned. I wonder if you see anything that should be sold, and added to something else to maximize growth when the market turns good again, or if it is better not to shuffle at this point.

Q: As per your team Industrials, tech and materials/energy can be decent sectors in times of inflation.

Can you please recommend USA & Cdn ETF that you would consider holding in each above sector.

Thanks for the great service.

Q: I am considering positions in Digital Turbines, Crowdstrike, Twilio and Nvidia as the market declines. What is your short and long term views on these companies? Is 1/3 positions a good strategy until the markets settle??

Q: I would like your impressions on PUBM. Its valuation is quite reasonable compared to others in this space such as MGNI and TTD. It seems to me that their success depends on the being able to attract more publishers to their platform, not sure if you have any insights into their potential.

Thank you for a fabulous service.

Q: Hi Peter and Staff
I had asked about TECH as a way for a smaller portfolio like an RESP to participate in AMZN, GOOG etc. I think I understand it only holds 6 companies being AMZN,GOOG,MSFT,NFLX.FB and APPL and obviously % change as prices of those stocks move around. IF I were to suggest that for an RESP , which TECH one would you suggest, symbol wise as far as hedged , not hedged and what is the MER

I think I notice that you suggest GGG instead of TECH. Is that correct? Do you suggest the TECH.US one ? Am I correct that it has 100 holdings including the six that are in TECH. What % of the fund is those 6 that are in TECH? IS there a rough sector allocation available?

Please deduct multiple credits if needed to give the whole answer

Thanks for all you do
Dennis
