Q: Everyone, what is the rate of return for the large cap tech stocks vs the Nasdaq 100. For the large cap I would classify: AAPL, AMZN, GOOG, MSFT and NVDA ( you can add more to the list). Please use a time period that you have good stats for but or a 5 year or 10 year return period. I would like to know if it is worthwhile only investing in the big tech stocks overall. Clayton.

Q: Could I get your take on Q3 earnings. Revenues are up but earnings are flat, is this only the "other charges"? Could you explain why they are reporting Q3 2024 earnings, in Dec 2023, pretty much a full year ahead... I haven't seen a company Q report that far from actual calendar Q. How does this work?

Q: If one were interested in short term trading, which of these two would be a better candidate today? I’ve done well buying and selling both - buying dips and selling pops. I am a little afraid of Nvda due to it being priced for perfection, although of course both have seen nice gains.

Is their significant overlap? Would you see then them moving in tandem going forward and would you prefer one over the other or owing both at this time ?

Q: Hi 5i, and would welcome your review of the recent Quarterly results from SentinelOne, and whether you would consider it as a buy/ hold/ or sell. Do you see any red flags or concerns with the future business prospects or in achieving their march to eventual profitability, and the merits as a long-term hold and any competitive advantage that they may hold in the cybersecurity space. Q: Looking at Canadian technology stocks. I'm going to assume you figure CSU and SHOP are the mainstays here, so I would like to know how you would rate the following 10 other Cdn technology stocks on a scale of 1-10, for a long term hold, with 10 being a stock you would absolutely want to have in a portfolio and 1 being something of no interest at all. CLS, CTS, DCBO, DSG, GIB.A, KXS, NVEI, OTEX, TCS, VHI. I have included very small company VHI because their recent Q3 looked quite good to me. Also, if there are 1 or 2 that look like very compelling buys at this time, could you indicate which ones please. Thanks.

Q: Current PEs for CSU and Shop seem stratospheric and have me worried. How do they compare to historical PEs for these companies? Do the forward PEs for these two companies justify present share prices?

Q: The Rule of 40 is a SaaS financial ratio which states that a healthy SaaS company has a combined growth rate and profit margin of 40% or more.

Do you prescribe to this rule? Why is this specific to SaaS companies and not other industries?

Q: Hi team,
How big of a deal is it that nvei is partnering with Microsoft for payments? Partnering with a mega cap like Microsoft seems almost game changing for a small cap name like nvei. This being said it is perplexing that nvei keeps scoring global deals with big names and yet its numbers don’t reflect the profitability one would almost expect . Your take on the name going forward would be much appreciated, and the potential that now exists being partnered with Microsoft .
