Q: Hi team,

Looking for stocks likely to be best performing on short term with reasonable risks in any sector. In this regard, what is your evaluation of Siga Technologies (siga-q), Target Hospitality (th-q), Pagaya Technologies (pgy-q), Nextier Oilfield Solutions (nex-n) or any other on your radar ? Which ones would you buy now ?

Gratefully,

Jacques IDS

Q: Hello,

Thank you for all the help in these tough times. The advice from this service does help keep a person grounded in dark days. In anticipation of us reaching peak inflation and small caps beginning to turn around can you let me know which of these you would prefer? Both are trading close in stock price but CTS is much larger according to RBC website 1.3B vs 188M. Both are well down from their highs and both seem to still be growing at a good rate. Which in your view looks like the better horse? Or should a person pick both?

Thanks

Q: I am looking at a purchase in my non-registered account. All the above stocks are below there targets and some are at 5 star price levels. What would be your choice from the list for growth for a 3 - 5 year hold?

Q: BoE bond buying announcement largely had to prevent margin calls and pension impact risks. (As well as other economic needs) Not an expert, but it sounds like mass panic in Europe(inflation, Russia etc…) Leading to significant credit availability reductions needed for businesses for financing etc. With this all happening does this not provide an ideal environment for TOI to acquire European business’s at a discount, understanding they strategically use their cash flow to finance the deals. Lead to a very bright bright upside in the future?

Q: Hi 5i Team,

I have owned APP's for 1.5 years and am down significantly (70%). I know you have been generally optimistic about its fundamentals but I guess I need some reassurance in these turbulent times.

Do you still find their fundamentals and growth prospects compelling? And if you so could you explain what makes it an attractive HOLD or BUY. Respecting there is no crystal ball do you feel that in 12 months things will look rosier for the stock?

Many thanks to you all for your steady hand in such rough market conditions!

Q: I own shares in these 3 companies and am thinking of adding to one or all of them. Weightings are all still relatively modest. What do think of these stocks, is this a good time to add, and would you suggest adding to one, two or all. If not all, in which one or two would you prefer? With thanks, Don

Q: Hello Peter,
Given your response to Topicus, is the company following the same strategy as it did for CSU? If so, given that its presence in Europe and that it trades on Venture exchange with little coverage, can you see this stock doing well in the longer term? Also, why would CSU not focus on getting the company to trade on Toronto Exchange? Lastly , Tecsys has been on the decline.. Any major reason as i thought this would be a good long term hold? Thanks

Q: My question is on BOARDWALKTECH SOFTWARE. I've read your last comments but I’m just trying to understand what industry this company caters to. Where do they derive their revenues from and is the CAGR (Compounded Annual Growth Rate) for this particular industry good looking forward? If you were going to add this to a microcap portfolio would you do it here as it is getting close to 52 week highs or wait for a pull back, or just stay away from it period and sell, sell, sell if you already have a position?
