Q: Any idea why CSU and LMN have gone to the moon in the very recent past? I know CSU has a stellar history and story, but really.... Sure CSU fundamentals are great, but it is behaving like NVDA has in the past.
Q: I have read most of the recent Q&A on CSU, TOI AND LMN. I understand that they operate in different jurisdictions, have like minded management teams and are majority controlled by CSU. What I don’t understand is why the market loves CSU and LMN and doesn’t have that same love forTOI. What am I missing? Also, what is the probability that the recent run up in LMN stock price mimics the early run that TOI had, and then drops back and stays lower for several years.
Q: Greetings, I am thinking of selling ET and adding to OTEX to consolidate holdings in Canadian technology. How would you compare these companies in terms of their future runway for growth and current valuation? Do you think this is a wise move, or would you sell them both? Thank you.
Q: Could you please describe SPSC’s business model, competitive advantages or weaknesses? What are the key factors that would support a long term investment in SPSC? Would you be confident in their earnings forecast? Could SPSC be a takeover candidate?
Q: Png had 2.4 mil shares change hands the other day, also there has been positive contracts recently and share price is rising. How would you evaluate the risk vs opportunity at this point ?
Q: Robotics were a big part of the latest CES show in Las Vegas.
I would like to know what your best investment ideas to play this secular trend. I believe with the increased cost of labour this trend will only accelerate.
I am looking for your best stocks or ETF ideas to put in an RRSP to profit from this assumption.
Q: Do you think long term investors will eventually be rewarded? Their software is installed in 54% of cars coming off assembly lines worldwide, have announced some big partnerships since beginning of December, are expanding into the fitness industry, yet share price really hasn’t moved.
Thanks for your insight.
Q: I purchased LSPD at its high of $100.00, now it is down to $25.00. I am 60 yrs old, don’t need the money. Should I sell it and move on, or wait for it to rebound somewhat. If I sold it what would be a good replacement. It is in my TFSA!
I need some advice!
Thank you.
Q: Does this company appear to have any of the attributes of a LMN, TOI, or CSU? Do you foresee CTS copying their strategy of not offering further shares. Is it a good investment for a 5 year hold? Thanks
Q: I try and invest in companies that have the potential to become long-term compounders and then hang on tight for many years. TIXT has pooped the bed, but going forward, do you think that TIXT is likely to become a long-term compounder? Is this the vision of their management?
Q: CSU market cap has grown from 55 Billion to 75 Billion over the past three months. Have the companies fundamentals improved enough to justify a 20 billion increase? This would imply transformational developments. This move seems excessive to me and I am trying to understand what is behind it.
Q: Curious what you currently think of UBER. They apparently are starting to generate real profits and competition seems to be somewhat weakening. Looking at a small 100 share position. Thank you very much.
Q: Can you please give an update on COIN, especially in light of the new spot BTC etfs that are now available.
Coinbase charges 2.5% transaction fees, a business that will surely suffer now that there are ways to participate in BTC for 20 basis points. From what I rave read, COIN, as the custodian for several of these ETFs will be paid 5 basis points for AUM.
That’s 245 basis points lower than what they are make on their trading fees.
What is your outlook on this company? Is there any compelling reason to hold it? Please give your bull and bear case.
