Q: Hi team, I just sold this position for tax loss purposes ( -45%). Still like the future of this company but still debating on repurchase it later or meta. What would be your choice for 2/4 years and why? Thank you and happy holidays to all of your staff!

Q: I hold the above within a RRIF. In total they are now worth $49K cost was $64K, current income approx $2K.
What do you think about selling them all and reinvesting in AAPL, MSFT, BRK and AMZN. Any alternatives you can suggest. I don't mind forgoing the income.

Q: What is your opinion of Shopify as a worthwhile investment? Quite a drop in price over the last year from $180 to $48. What did they do wrong or is it a tech market pricing issue? Are they well managed - is their future positive? Recently watched Brian Madden of First Avenue on BNN he was very positive on this company.

Q: DND is up 16% currently. After its repurchase of shares do you anticipate the share price will drop back to 11.50 or will it sustain its gain.
Not trying to ask you to be a fortune teller but just share your experience with what has happened to other company share prices in this instance.
want to know if I should take advantage of this jump in price.

Q: Can you confirm my valuation is correct? DND is on track to generate +$150M in free cash flow this year and if I had the money I could buy the whole company for $797 M? The big concern is the billion $ is debt? Thanks
Q: CDNS is relatively unscathed, very unusual for a tech stock in this market. What is about this stock that has allowed it to maintain its valuation?
Thanks for all you do

Q: Hi there,
I saw ENGH put up some good numbers today. In your opinion do you think ENGH has turned up here and has room to run?
Thanks!

Q: Hi, if I were to sell SYZ for a tax loss, would you replace it with SHOP or KXS ? Or simply buy back SYZ. Who do you like for a long term hold. I also have CSU.
Thanks, Merry Xmas, looking forward to 2023

Q: I noticed their share buyback program was with subordinate voting shares. Does this help the common share holder.
Thanks Steve

Q: Would you consider yesterday's news as significant. If so, is it a good time to buy, possibly with a January bounce.
Thanks Steve

Q: My question is about share compensation. My understanding is that, share compensation is recorded at fair market value at the time of issue. I wonder how many companies recorded higher costs for share compensation and lower GAAP profits, given last year's run up in valuations? Year over year the amounts seem out of whack for many companies.

Q: Hi Guys
What do you think of the management team spending like drunken Sailors on 250,000 square feet of office space in the knew splashy Welltower building in Toronto. Not only that, but when the stock was flying it exercised options to take on another 90,000 square feet.
Sounds like arrogant kids to me.
Thanks Gord

Q: Was happy to see DOCU's small rebound and the relatively positive report you gave them in your answer to a previous question.
My question is whether they really have a moat with their product or whether it can be reproduced by a bigger player like Microsoft.
Your answer will help to decide whether it's better to sell during this rebound or hope for a return to the heights it once enjoyed.

Q: The Globe and Mail has an interesting piece on DND. Apparently the CEO has received share grants of over 9,000,000 shares in the last 3 years. These have a current market value of over $100,000,000. The market cap of the company is only $900,000,000. I see red flags, but Mr. Proud sees a parade. What do you think?
Q: What do you think of abnb right now?
Q: Good afternoon, could you comment on DOCUs last earnings? What are your thoughts about the company? There some things to like for sure if you feel it's turning the corner.
thx, Mark

Q: I know these companies are in different sectors but we one do you prefer between TWLO and NVCR for the next 5 years
Q: I have a position in FOBI and am down quite a bit. I understand small caps are under a lot of pressure currently. Is there a worry that this company could go bankrupt? With a longer term outlook would you continue to hold it ?
