Q: Hello 5i team,
In light of ANRG slowly going back up, I am curious what the underlying problems were with the company? Ultimately it always comes down to too much debt, but that is only a result. Was it bad management or simply a bad high capital idea (converting waste to fuel). Looking at the recent new money being put in (Marny/insider purchases) it seems people are still confident in this company.

Are there other companies in this space that have actually succeeded in doing this?

Q: Hi Peter,

A follow up question on Pinetree. With Shezad Okhai (former VP of Constellation Software Volaris group and previous Chief Investment Officer of Pinetree) coming back effective November 1st, do you think it would be a stretch to look at this company as a quasi Constellation Software VC or PE company. Damien Leonard (CEO) involvement, Pinetree has common stock holdings with Strikwerda BV holdings (connection to Topicus CEO - ie. Trubridge) and the type of verticals software investments in the fund, it looks like there is a lot over lap and synergies with CSU. Or is this a bit of a stretch.

Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you provide some information on a company called Meta Materials which still trades or did trade on the Nasdaq. I think it has filed for bankruptcy but am not sure. The symbol should be MMTLP but am not sure of this either. Some specific questions are: How many shares are there and are there any any insider holdings or trading. Is there any potential for this company. I believe there is a class action lawsuit and if so do you have any opinion on how this might play out. I realize that this is a stock that may be difficult to research so any information that you could provide would be appreciated - and there's no rush.
