Q: Hi Peter and Team, Thanks for your comments on RIFCO (RFC) recent results. Do you have any comments on recent volatility in SP? After recording a high of $4.98, SP has declined consistently to as low as $4.15. Is it a good buy at current prices? Do you foresee more profitable growth in company's business during 2013/2014 and a possibility of dividend? How does it compare with CFN in valuation and future prospects/competition? When do you plan to cover this co.?
Q: AM eanings for last year were significantly above the previous year, which should suggest another dividend increase or special dividend.Insider selling seems to reduce the market for this stock.Have you met with or talked to the management? How long can this insider selling last?Do you still think the stock is worth about $4.00. One service values the stock at $5.12.

Q: DDS Wireless (TSX: DD) just reported Q4 which looked outstanding. The stock looks really undervalued. What is your initial opinion on the results and stock value?
Q: Hi Peter,
In your Sprott days you were a supporter of Sensio Technologies. They have recently signed many contracts with large companies such Disney(yesterday), Starz, and National Geographic to provide streaming 3D content on their new 3DGO service. These events in addition to their patents regarding Auto detect and 2D-3D switches and signing agreements with WiLan to litigate these patents seem to be great. They also have signed with the biggest two TV manufacting companies in China (HiSense and TLC)and Vizio in the States, plus have many agreement with the chip manufacturing companies installing Sensio chips. All of this is extremely positive. However, there seems to be no traction at all with all of the progress that they have made. It actually has been in continuous downward spiral! Is there something fundamentally wrong with their products/services? Who is their closest competitor? Is this just a matter of time?
Regards,
Arturo

Q: Re: CLQ
This stock has been dropping rapidly (from around .90 to .70) over the last couple of weeks. Today they announced a $20M bought deal financing at .74. It would seem reasonable to assume word of the financing got out to some before the announcement. Anyway, I wonder if I could get your views on these kinds of financings and the short term effect they tend to have on a stock price. I would assume the stock price is now basically "capped" at the financing price and will be essentially dead money until the financing works its way through. Is that usually what happens? Also, the investment bankers who financed the deal will at some point want to sell into the market for their profit. Is there any rough guidline as to how much financiers are generally looking to make on these kind of deals (ie. if they are usually happy with, say, 5%, there may not be much point staying in the stock and waiting as they may be flooding the market with their new shares at something less than .80 again putting a cap on the upside at that time. Thanks, as always for your opinion.

Q: hello 5i:
Regarding GCL:
wondering if your opinion has changed at all on this one ie. is it a buy, sell or hold, and what effect will the recent equity financing by the Caisse have on the company? Is the acquisition of T Lauzon a positive or a non-event.
thanks
Paul

Q: Hi Peter: Could I please have your thoughts on WesternOne Inc.,(WQI). Seems to be a reasonbly good company for income with some growth possiblity. Also has a low payout ratio.

Q: Wajax is in similar lines of business to Finning and has a very nice yield can I get your thoughts about this company?
Q: Hello, I noticed where Perpetual [PMT] has a NAV of $1.84 yet closed today at $0.86. Should that be interpreted as a buying opportunity? I realize they are mainly a natural gas company and are suffering the affects of a low commodity price. Your comments are appreciated. Thanks - Ron
Q: Hi Peter,
The environment and energy continue to be a large issue in today’s world. I am looking at a company named Alter NRG (NRG.T) that address both waste and energy issues via a plasma gasification technology. Roman Abromovich has been acquiring companies in this space and has just purchased 30% of Alter NRG. Their plasma technology is being endorsed by Air Products who is building a $400 million plasma plant in the UK (their largest one time investment). It would seem like the tipping point for the technology is here and I wanted to get your thoughts on investing in this company.
Thanks

Q: I'd appreciate your thoughts on Automodular Corp. AM-T. Thanks.
Q: After many years in the market with satisfactory results I am finding that the retail investor is becoming more and more at a disadvantage because of market manipulation.I now equate market investing to swimming with the sharks.High frequency trading(manipulation),short selling(naked and otherwise),false rumors, grey market trading and the ability of the hedge funds to attack any stock which may or may not be good value makes me question the wisdom of being involved in the market at all.Do you have an opinion on my concerns?
