Q: Hi 5i, my question is regarding Eacom Timber (ETR-T).the recent offer by Kelso has been extended to about mid June.it is my understanding that Kelso has deep pockets and a lot of experience with this type of purchase.after the initial offer by Kelso was made i sold half of my position at a very handsome profit. now my question is, what would you suggest i do with the other half ? should i sell now at a little less than the 38 cent offer and re invest or tender and get the full 38 cents. i guess the chances of a competing bid is slim to none ? thanx for your help, norm

Q: Rifco appears to be in same business as CFN, but in the segment that competes directly with the banks. It appears to be much smaller, less liquid and far more expensive. Obviously since its smaller it can grow much more quickly but competing head to head with TD and Scotia doesn't seem very lucrative. Am I missing something?

Q: Hi Peter,
What are your thoughts on the uranium space and specifcally UEX Corp as a contrarian play. Are we setting ourselves up for another bull market in Uranium? I see Japan is beginning to start up nuclear reactors once again. UEX seems to be sitting at it's low where it has been a few times over the last 10 years or so.Thanks.
