Q: Given the investment period of 1 year, would you consider the rewards worthy of the risk in the volatile stocks of McCoy Corp and Macro Enterprises? If yes, which would you prefer?
Back on Jan 13 Dundee Securities raised their price objective for PRW from $1.20 to $1.50. And Bruce Campbell on Market Call was excited about their prospects considering their highway expansion projects and the infrastructure needs the Canadian Oil & Gas sector would have in the coming months.
Since then share prices saw a brief time between $1.02 & $1.08 before falling to between $0.92 & $0.97 (majority of time closer to $0.92) where we have seen it for the past 6 weeks.
The all of a sudden yesterday is closed at $1.00 and today it is at $1.02 with trading at 2.85 times average daily volume
PRW has one of the larger "Big Yellow" equipment fleets and I have been expecting them to enjoy plenty of new projects as a result of the healthy Oil & Gas Sector and specifically the LNG project in BC.
Can you give any advice re this equity and if in fact there are any reasons to expect PRW to begin heading to the levels The "Experts" expected when they reported at the beginning of the year?
Q: Hi Peter and Team,
What are your thoughts on Falcon Oil and Gas, with regards to the farm out deal that just occurred? Would this be a good long term play? and with this deal, has this company been substantially de risked?
Q: Hi Peter
Is there any reason why Macro Enterprises (MCR) is moving higher lately. It's up 37% off its lows over the past 10 days.
I can't find any news on it.
Thanks
Q: Any comments you might have on American Vanadium (AVC) would be appreciated. I have a small speculative position : 1) like the fact that it is developing what they claim to be the only primary vanadium mine in the U.S., 2 ) that it also is in partnership with a German manufacturer, & markets/sells their batteries designed for large capacity energy storage and energy sources such as wind and solar, which given the US interest in energy self sufficiency should be gaining traction and 3) now it appears that Dundee is taking a more active role.
As always, I would value your opinion on whether you think this company has reasonable possibilities in the future.
Q: can you comment on LOY results- revenue growth looks good but the net income is a bit disappointing. Would you call it cheap at these levels? Thanks
Q: Hi 5i team, I am looking at SSS.T for my tfsa account. I know it's high risk and that's why only a half position. Your thoughts on the sector and the company. thanks Jim
Q: On my watch list 3 stocks that I come to think of KLS, SVC and GWR just keep moving up. Are they a buy anytime and does it look like the momentum will continue for quite some time?
You briefly mentioned Gear Energy and Prism and a short time after they took off. Do you have any more like that .. you wish to briefly mention?
FB (Facebook) has been the talk of Seeking Alpha this year. Anything under 63 was considered a screaming buy as it was going to 82. When it beat earnings Apr. 22nd, numerous articles came out advising to get in real quick. I thought I was getting a deal on a half order at $62.00 on Mar 24 the day after the earnings report - only to find out the following day I could have had it for $57.00. Are many Seeking Alpha analysts that wrong? I thought Seeking Alpha was pretty accurate or were they pumping the price up? Dennis
Q: Hi Team - can you comment on the news of a "strategic review" by IRG. Do you think a sale is likely outcome and any advice if you were a shareholder? Its up strongly today . Thanks
