Q: Hello 5i,
Do you have a few biometric companies you like for growth in the sector? After reading this article, I would like to keep my eye on a few with some good potential. Cdn or US stock, either will do. Thanks for the excellent service. Gerald

Q: Hi peter, I would value any comments very much! Cheers, Austin
Q: Hello 5i,
I'd like to get your take on Sandvine Corp. Their technoloigy is intriging and I could see sector growing in the future. Last quarter was weak but it seemed to be more related to contract timing and they have since signed a few new deals, and they've got a ton of cash on the balance sheet. Is this stock a good buy right now for 1-2 year time frame?

Q: Hello,
My investment in Enterprise Group is now down 54%. It is held in a registered account and, at current valuations, represents just 0.5% of my portfolio. Is it time to sell this stock and preserve the remaining capital?
Thank you.

Q: Hello, what is your opinion on EL? I was told they just hired some top end managers. Thank you
Q: I would appreciate your assessment of the announcement this morning by Kelso Technologies as follows...
Association of American Railroad has approved our new JS165H high-flow pressure relief valve for commercial applications after completing its required two year field trial. The JS165H has been designed for use on general service rail tank cars carrying hazardous and non-hazardous non-flammable chemicals that require a pressure specification of 165PSI. Rail tank cars requiring this technology are primarily DOT-111 tank cars that represent approximately two-thirds of the total DOT-111 fleet in North America.
North American chemical companies have been very supportive of the development of the JS165H as a best available technology and we are now able to supply their needs. Management believes that this development will allow Kelso to increase its market share and continue the momentum of its annual revenue growth.
With this AAR approval Kelso is now able to supply approximately 70% of all PRV applications required by the AAR. The JS165H is well suited for new tank car manufacturers, retrofit operations and repair facilities. The Company is able to produce this product in its current production facilities in Bonham, Texas.

Q: Hi, you had mentioned that you trusted that GUD would put their recent financing funds to good use. Looking at the micro-cap LAB which is in a similar area and also recently did a financing, do you have any idea what their gameplan might be for the funds from THEIR financing? Do you feel it is just a promotional move, or a positive move for the company?
Q: Hello Peter & Co,
In my TFSA, I hold Boralex, DHX Media, Evertz and Morneau Sheppell. I'd like to add something in the burgeoning canadian health sector: BioSyent (RX)? or ProMetic Life Sciences (PLI)?
Thanks,
Tony

Q: I have several thousand shares in PNP going back several years and which (in my mind) I had essentially written off and thought some day they might come back which would have been a bonus. But yesterday PNP announced that it is non-compliant on some debt covenants. What do you make of this situation with PNP and should I sell before they declare bankruptcy which seems a distinct possibility?
As always your advice is much appreciated.

Q: Could you please provide an update here. Insiders are buying. Would you buy RZZ or HER for a speculative very high risk mining play? Thank you.
Q: Hi
Could you please let me know what you think of today's news.

Q: A while back I asked about WEQ WESTERONE INC. you felt it was Ok and new the management. Recently bought more at $5.75.Its now skirting 3.50> 4.00 range.
I am assuming the latest Qtr. was not great plus the pull back in oil prices are the culprit for the price decline?
Other brokerage firms have cut their target price off coarse after its fallen significantly.
Do you any updated insight into this company?
Thoughts on a dividend cut?
Where do you see this company going under the new CEO.
Should I sell as a tax loss. Originally bought 1K at 8.00 another 1k At 5.75???
Is this stock turning into a Yellow Media or Hot Water Fund debacle?

Q: This stock is currently up 24% today. They announced a conference call for Friday to discuss the recent acquisition but I can see no other news. Do you know what is up?

Q: I hold CFL in a registered account mainly for its dividend (currently 11%). Bought it at $3.00 and was doing well for a while, but is now down 27% from my cost. Recognize it's a small cap with some revenue coming from the oil & gas sector, so not without its risks. The recent quarterly report didn't seem too bad, though recognize that's looking backward. The stock has recovered a bit today, up 4% as I write.
At today's price, it represents about 1% of my total equity portfolio. Do you see the stock price recovering eventually? Does the dividend appear sustainable? If yes on both questions, would it be worthwhile (or foolhardy) to top my CERF holding up to 1.5%?
Thanks as always for your sound advice and terrific service.

Q: H2O went from 33 cents to 1.65, I bought at 33. Sell? Hold? Any idea why the sudden jump in price? Also, I bought more SGY today at $4.41, I believe it's good timing - as long as they don't go out of business. Any comment on that possibility?
Many thanks, like many other customers of yours, you've made investing more interesting and profitable and I greatly appreciate and feel very fortunate to have you out there.
