Investment Q&A

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: Do you think Blink looks interesting at these levels for a long term hold? Anything to do with the EV industry has been beaten up but sales are going to inevitably increase. Are you aware which business currently has a stranglehold on the home EV charging ports?
Thanks

Q: Re your response to Ross Nov 9 on earnings I am curious to know how this Co acquired such a heavy debt load; It almost looks as though the company was under capitalized at issue. The accompanying profile refers to the Co acquiring practices but this could be outright purchase or simply a stake. What would be a normal debt load for this situation and what does acquiring imply? Could you also comment on the probability of the federal government announcing a supported dental plan, a possible date for such and the impact on the company if this occurs. What looked to be a desirable investment has sagged badly.

Q: Currently own SIS for a few years with small capital gains and collecting the monthly dividend. Looking for more capital gains and not in need of the monthly dividend payment. How’s HPS.A looking from a valuation and it is getting closer to 1B market cap. Looking to sell SIS and buy HPS.A for some more total returns. Thoughts?

Q: Hi 5i,
Concerning the CGX recently announced sale of Player One Amusement Group...Do you consider this positive or negative for the company and what are your expectations for this company, are they really as bad as share price seems to suggests?
Share price is not far off Covid lows when business was zero...Are they effectively managing increased interest rates cost on current debt or is that a big ;problem also.

Current longtime shareholder pre-covid and trying to make decision hold or sell, my time line is 2 year time frame.

Thx

Q: Your recent inclusion of the stock to the growth model tweaked my interest. The company was unknown to me. A q and a search showed that you have been positive on this company for a while. I checked out the charts. A two year chart shows a nice saucer and handle (consolidation) formation (though the handle a bit extended) through 2022 and mid 2023 and then the breakout. In July/August price jumps from, in round numbers, $27 to $37. October sees a 20% sell off but then there is a quick rebound back to the 37ish level (very positive). My question is, are you aware of any fundamental reason for the price increase in July/August? I have not been able, through my limited resources, to find one.
Thank you
Neil
