Q: Would you be concerned by the large AR build up from Q1 to Q2. I understand that insurance companies take a long time to pay, but is this too long a period?
Q: This rather small company appears to have a sound balance sheet, and has growing profits. Just hit its 52 week high. Any interest in this business lender?
Q: do you know this company, their earnings just announced were very good, would you buy it? it seems like they are getting wins on their silicone adhesives. dave
Q: Please comment on the status of this turnaround given the recent results. It seems to me that while very small, Eli Dadouch of Firm Capital has turned this ship around in a steady, consistent and methodical fashion since stepping in and booting out the former crook of a CEO almost 2 years ago.
Q: I currently hold DHX in an RrESP account which I will be winding down over the next 4 years. The stock has come back nicely over the last little while and wonder if this momentum will continue or weather I should take this opportunity to exit. This stock was originally purchased for capital appreciation given the low dividend.
Thank you.
Maggie
Q: Ever since Intrinsyc released its lackluster Q2 report (but with a positive outlook) insider buyer from the Company's CEO and a director has increased rather significantly. Is this a reliable indicator of what is to come in future results?
Q: Morning Peter and team, In addition to the core 5i big-cap stable names, we own healthy positions in GUD, GPS, KXS, PHO, PTE, OTEX, TCN & TV and a 1/2 position in PLI, and have ~35% portfolio cash. What are the next 2 small caps you would add here ? Would you initiate a position in CRH ? Thanks, Paul
Q: Thinking of deploying some cash, maybe 3% of portfolio, between high yielding names that could have significant upside if things work out well for them (not usually my investment strategy - buy names with significant challenges and hope things work out). Among the names I'm considering are Callidus Capital, Pivot Technology and Alaris Royalty. Any problem with this strategy? I'm particularly intrigued by Pivot's eps expectations over the next few years (granted only one analyst follows them but he is forecasting 2018 eps at 63 cents and 2020 eps at $1.24.
Q: Can you update your July 10 advice. I know there's an offer for $4.40, but no shareholder meeting has been set to vote. Can another offer come forward, if so, your guess as to its probability. Thanks, Great Service!
