Q: Could you please comment on Sylogist results released this morning? There was a mention of "accelerating growth in US market" and "one acquisition target we know well is our own company". How would you explain these notes? Thanks

Q: Hi, Happy New Year?
Well, in the middle of all this contagion, I have a little gem which has treated me well in the healthcare sector - MPH. Although Medicure trades on the Venture, it has held up well and seems to be making a significant move. Have you any thoughts on this stock?
Thanks, for your work.

Q: Hi, 5i
Regarding pbh, what are the biggest risks involved? How are its margins? Do you know their customers?(Starbucks? I think is one). The food business is "to my knowledge" highly competitive and margin sensitive, is pbh a good enough company to overcome its sector or do you think other stocks are better?
Thanks

Q: In view of recent turbulence and volatility, is there any change in your previously expressed opinions of SOX? Can the dividend be maintained?
Q: Can I get your comments on CWL after their Q1 results. They looked weak and the stock got hit, but management seem to be saying there were extra costs in the quarter. What do you think about continuing to hold the stock, and how does the dividend look? Thanks.

Q: Hi 5i Research team,
About investing in smaller cap, probably best named microcap: less than 30 or 50 millions $, or lower liquidity companies:
What would you generally consider low volume, low liquidity? How do you define it, volume as market cap %, volume as float %, absolute amount $ traded daily?
What maximum % of daily volume should an individual investor own, or not surpass?
What % of a portfolio can be dedicated to such investments based risk aversion (low, average, high)?
What is the minimum time horizon (holding period)?
During what segment of the economic cycle ou stock market cycle should we underweight and overweight?
What annual rate of return over the long term should be considered successfull?
Always under the assumption that the rest of the portfolio is well diversified and liquid.
Thank you for your collaboration, and best wishes for the new year. Eric

Q: Hi
Just wondering your latest thoughts on slyce. They've announced some deals lately but seem to have cash flow issues. Still waiting to see if there will be any uptake on short form prospectus which is overdue. Im in at 17 cents But wondering if I should hold or get out and into something like DBO? Thanks so much.

Q: I would appreciate your opinion, may thanks for your great service!
Q: What are your updated thoughts on this one?
Q: Hi Peter and team,
I'm looking at gaining specific exposure to four new "industries" with promise, Driverless car technology, Drone technology, vape industry and the marijuana business (Canada). Although all are in their early stages, I would like to acquire quality positions for the long term. I realize there is significant risk at the early stage and would be interested in owning the best part of each industry, i.e. technology, rights, patents etc. I'm very interested in how you would approach this question.

Q: Symbility has made many announcements over the past year or two which sound positive but the stock price bounces around mostly with a gradual downtrend. Can you update your thoughts on this company? What might be a potential catalyst? Are there any concerns or red or yellow flags here. I am patient and willing to wait. Thank you and Happy New Year. Tulio
Q: What is your opinion on Park Lawn Corp, a cemetery and funeral home operator that is growing by acquisition?
I currently hold a 2.0% weighting of this company in my portfolio. Considering that this is a small company and that I am a risk tolerant investor, does this weighting seem appropriate. In light of a recent acquisition in Michigan, I have been considering bumping it up to 3-4%.
Thanks.
