Q: Emotion aside about a stock everyone has loved to hate for over a year, PHM just reported their best positive cash flow results, have an astounding 78% profit margin, substantially reduced their bad debt to a manageable level, increased their cash balance from the previous quarter and reduced their overall debt. They say after 18 months of hard work, they have trimmed unprofitable business which has reduced revenues but are making more money and now seem ready to propel sales upward. It's very unfortunate they are splitting into two separate companies but when the leaders don't get along, it can be toxic. The same personnel have steered this turnaround so there is substantial commitment as each owns millions of shares. Can you see anything remotely positive in this effort? Two big concerns are the number of traders swarming this stock and it seems there may be a lot of shorts considering they have 375M shares and, second, do you foresee one or both new companies being taken private by the large share-positioned CEO's once the split is complete. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

Q: I love investing in dividend growers, would you consider exco technologies, xtc. And sylogist, syz. Good dividend growers over about a seven year period, and can u give me two others that can consistently grow their dividends over the same period, iam more interested in small caps, thanks?
Q: Small caps REALLY seem to be moving, many which I own from your growth portfolio. For example, PLI, IRD, PHO, CRH, ECN, TNC, GUD, SVI, and ITC. Is it the individual stories for each stock that is pushing prices up, or do you see a larger rotation into small caps? Do you feel their is still value in the names above and in small caps in general?

Q: I recently purchased shares in Ergoresearch a microcap healthcare technology company. What I like about the stock was its value and growth potential. The Company is the late stages of turnaround and in last reported quarter it had good profit and generated lots of cash. The company has paid down almost all of its debt and has over $8 million in cash on hand. Also the Company has been buying back their own stock and insiders own almost 50% of the company. In its outlook Management suggested that revenues should begin to grow again. What are your thoughts?
Q: Recently SVI had been buying assets of Access Storage(owned by executives of SVI)its biggest shareholder. On morning of Feb 21,Access Storage bought 15m shs of SVI @ $1.50 from 3 vendors as per share purchase agreement to increase its ownership to 37.4%.The previous business day,Jan 17,it closed @ $1.69 & on jan 21 @ $1.70,& today @ $1.63. Should I(own a small portion)be concerned.Appreciate u normal great views & services.
Q: With all these markets at record highs, what do you think about IWO here? I'm thinking of picking some up. What % would you buy here at record highs like this?
Thanks!

Q: Follow the money. The company has been aggressively buying back shares during the past 12 months. Then there is very large insider selling by the the CEO followed by earnings that were poor and the share price is well below where most of the share repurchases occurred. If the company knew they were in a transition year (stated in their q release) and earnings were going to slow or falter should they have been buying shares back at 9-11 bucks? Or waiting till after this weak quarter to buy back shares at much better prices. Looks to me like the CEO is taking care of himself and not acting in our best interest. Your thoughts?
