Q: I am 73 and all our investments are in RRIFs.
You have recommended this in the past and I own some shares which are 8% below purchase price.
Earnings are due on 31 October. I like the dividend this company offers.

Do you have any words of wisdom? I am not necessarily wanting to sell, unless it is likely to just keep on drifting lower. One of the reasons I bought this stock was because it seemed to be in a sector all of its own. Which sector would you place it in?

Q: I recently ignored my logic in staying away from "new" listings and invested in IBAT. In essence, I went with my gut based on my research and more than doubled my investment within a few days.

IBAT acquired technology in extracting lithium from brine, effectively reducing the process time from 24 months to 24 hours. No earnings ... It was previously operated as Rheingold. Has this been on your radar? Perhaps I should consider myself fortunate and bank my gains or hold on. May I have your opinion? Thank you.

Q: Patriot One has just issued some warrants. I have never purchased warrants, but have a general understanding of how they work. I can buy them easily enough from my online broker. Are they just as easy to sell (considering there is enough volume)? I'm just not sure on the exit strategy. Thanks. Really enjoy the questions asked, and responses received.

Q: Hi, CCMP Capital Advisors, the major shareholder and the initial private equity investor group is divesting its full shareholding (13 mln shares +15% over allotment, if exercised ) through a secondary offering for $18.50 a share. Does this move reflect on the future prospects of Jamieson? Are there any the major shareholders/insiders, after this sale? What is your current opinion on this company ? After watching the share price do well, since the initial offering in July, I bought a position yesterday at the open. Thanks for your insight.
