Q: Hello, this is about WEF labor dispute. Is there something new regarding the strike, is there an end in sight? Should one expect a good rebound in price once the strike is over? Would that make sense to buy now at the current price? Thanks, Gervais
Q: What are your thoughts on HWO as far as an investment for a contrarian play with a large dividend and a loss of 50% in the last year. Where do you see them going in the next 12 months , any tailwinds on the horizon and is the fat dividend safe?
Thanx Gary

Q: I know this is a small company but it appears to have an interesting technology for renewable energy applications. It has also recently made an agreement with New York Power Authority to collaborate on installing some of their systems. Could you give your comments on the company, technology, competitive position, etc and whether you think a small investment at this stage would be too premature.
Many thanks, as always.

Q: When looking at these stocks in terms of management team, growth, potential, and outlook for 5-10 years+, how you would rank them in order starting with the best and why?
Q: Hey Guys;
Everquote, if this was a Canadian company, where would you place this, balance or growth portfolio? Also, could you compare this company to a lspd or shop? Finally, would you take a position on it?
Thanks,
Jim

Q: I've just recently added to this stock Xebec to my TFSA account. The company is listed in the industrial sector or should it be considered an energy producer. What is their primary source of revenues, production of clean energy or manufacturing of clean energy equipment?
Thanks for all the great advice!

Q: Could I have your opinion on PYR. I am down 35 percent on the stock mostly since they first announced a large contract in June. Since then they have announced the same contract several times but can't get it finalized. Scared to sell in case it does get completed. Your thoughts please.
Q: Peter; The appointment of Brian Levitt, TD chairman, seems a bit odd to me- very small company with a good future but a very high profile name , Do you know if any share options were involved? Any comments? Thanks. Rod

Q: You sometimes mention that a particular stock would be OK for a basket of small-cap stocks. I am intrigued. I think you mean like a mini ETF where you track the whole as one investment. I think I have done something like that with a very tiny portion of my overall investments. I have a separate little portfolio with these 4 stocks, KUT, QST, MTLO, PNG. This group has been doing well so far this year with the exception of KUT. But I am interested to learn what stocks you might suggest for such a “basket”. Also how many stocks would you put in it?
Q: As of today, Quorum Information Technologies market cap exceeds $100 million. Should this attract more Funds to the story now given this Company is a profitable and growing SAAS business, with 90% revenues recurring and lots of cash on hand.
Q: It would appear that although this is a solid company it is down about 5% at the moment. One analyst did downgrade it to hold. The criticisms of the company seem to be the pay structure (transparency) and minimal growth due to an M&A slowdown. Both of these concerns speak to management. Are you able to provide any information on the management team? Are they strong, experienced with a stake in the company? At this time I am thinking it is a good buying opportunity despite its lack of momemtum.
Appreciate your insight.

Q: Hi Team
I dodged a bullet with hbc , I was so fed up with the gong show I decided to keep the stock, knowing if the deal feel through it would go way down, but I figured the clowns behind it were going to suffer a lot more than me, I did sell at $ 10.80, just glad to be out with a little profit. Next up is ret, not sure what to do it......avergae down and hope for a recovery, or hand on or just sell. It is in a non tax account. Trying to get my head around it, they have lots of cash, not sure the value of their properties, can not find out what they own and what they lease. What do you feel about this one, does it go down the drain like woodwards, Eatons Sears......etc.....look forward to your opinion
thanks
Tar

Q: I bought 5,000 shares of crescita in my tfsa and bought after Knight sold their shares. Do you think the stock is being accumulated now by a big company for a possible takeover. They are profitable and have a good product. I bought it at $1.20 and it hovers around .90 to .97. Would you move on if you owned?
Q: What are your favorite small cap stocks in the TSX
Thanks for the help

Q: This is more an observation rather than a question. On January 10th 2020 the Wall street Journal had a piece on the harmful practice of flaring natural gas. It referred to only one company and that was Questor. The CEO was referred to twice and also quoted.
