Q: Hi Team,
After languishing a long time, VEGN shows encouraging signs of life, with much higher volume and price. I would appreciate your views on this stock and whether it could be a good buy now. If not, what else ?
Q: Looking for growth companies to increase returns on my portfolio. I have chosen these four companies knowing fully well they can be volatile. Are there any reasons you wouldn't buy any one of them at these levels? My intention is to buy them as a 'growth basket'. If you think others might have more potential, please feel free to suggest them.
What is your take on this company (Eguana Tech), recognizing that it is very small - is it financially healthy? What do you think of its revenue prospects as part of the larger energy storage market? They claim to have a patented storage solution that is superior to competitors, and apparently have an order backlog of ~$23M.
Q: What is your assessment of GDNP? To me this seems like a no brainer. A company that makes bio-degradable plastic packaging in today's eco-friendly investing environment should do well.
Q: Hi Peter and Ryan,
Aberdeen international announced its intention to focus on a hot area, renewable energy particularly hydrogen sector. I remember you met the management team. How do you think the potential for this company?
Q: This company seems to have turned things around... Is it interesting now for sector exposure? This would be a small speculative position. I don’t currently own any cannabis stocks and want to be very selective. Thanks
Q: I looked up your report on this company and it is from 2016! Will you be doing an update? Would you still give it a C rating or has the rating change?
Thanks
You had recommended this as a 2021 theme on the weekend - was wondering if you would be using some of your cash in the Growth Portfolio this week. Huge runs lately especially on January 14th- still a buy or has it gotten away on itself ?
Q: GoldMoney has woken up, but I don't see any recent news. Your last comments in August seemed to be positive. I'm sitting with a 1/4 position wondering if there is a good reason to buy more, or to sell it off as I've held it for a while in taxable account currently in a loss position.
Q: What is your early impression of Mindbeacon? Sounds like they are in the right space, but do they have a good management team, and a business model with potential for big cash flow?? Would they be a good bolt-on acquisition some day for one of the more integrated telemedicine companies?
PYR announced preliminary results for Q4 and FY....
"Based on preliminary financial information, and subject to year-end closing adjustments, PyroGenesis expects revenue for the fourth quarter 2020 to be between $3 - $5 million, resulting in total revenues for the fiscal year ending 2020 of approximately $14 - $16 million, as compared to $1.07 million (Q4 2019) and $4.8 million (FY 2019), respectively.
The Company also expects earnings per share (“EPS”) for the fourth quarter to be in the range of $0.10 - $0.12, and for the fiscal year ending 2020 of between $0.22 - $0.24 , as compared to a loss of $0.04 (Q4 2019) and a loss of $0.07 (FY2019), respectively."
Quarter over quarter numbers ie Q3 vs Q4 are reduced but YoY quarters and FY are vastly improved. I know their quarterly numbers can be lumpy (based on contracts completed) but the FY growth is impressive.
Would you continue to just watch this for now and see if they can expand their customer count and thus also expand their backlog? Or take a 1/3 initial position?
(Motley Fool did a piece indicating any (quarterly) reduced revenues could spark a sell off).
