Q: I have held a part position in Brag for some time now and thinking about adding to make a full position. Realizing its risk being a small cap, it seems to be expanding its business and revenues. What are your thoughts
Q: The above TFSA holdings have not performed well and of course, are not eligible as tax loss harvesting. This is one of the potential downsides of TFSA investments. Please give me your thoughts on which ones you would move on from and without worrying about sectors, some replacements you think will recover well. Thanks again for your guidance.
Q: Could you provide an update on this company, in particular, its level of debt, cash flow, growth opportunities and ability to survive through the market turmoil and a recession. The company has been steadily declining for the past several months so its recent low may not necessarily be related to the volatile market. With the downturn my position is relatively small and I am trying to decide whether to hold, add, or sell outright and use the money to buy something in a similar field (beer, wine or distillery related) with perhaps more potential over the next two to three years. Thanks.
Q: Akumin is an US based company operating independent medical testing centres. They just announced to dedicate 10 test centers for Coronavirus imaging. Why is stock down sharply today with the news? Are medical testing centers beneficiaries under current situation?
Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
I have owned this company for a long time...I thought they had a future in the farming business. Now trading at $0.06.
Do you think they are going bankrupt or is this just a severe bear market? Your opinion is always welcome! Thanks!
Q: Can you offer any insight into why Viemed is one of the only stocks that has seemed to "bounce" at all? It hit 3.36 5 days ago and is back up to 6.54. Is this just from extra buying because of the low price or was there some really good news for them somewhere?
Q: I recently heard on a podcast that small caps as a group tend to recover quicker than large caps. Can you recommend some Canadian and US small cap ETFs? Thank you.
Q: Even though LNF had a good last quarter, I am having a hard time understanding why Leon's is holding up as well as it is. When you build a house or do major reno's, you need to buy or upgrade your furniture. However, if the economy and specifically the housing industry are slowing down (as they are now), your need for furniture should follow suit. Shouldn't Leon's stock price follow suit and drop off more? I must be missing something. Thanks for your help...Steve
Q: Hi team,
Can I have your take on Swiss Waters latest result?
I don't think covid-19 will stop people from drinking coffee, so would you consider this company reasonably defensive company at this time?
Q: This company, like many other hotel companies, has been clobbered the last couple of weeks. Seems to be overdone in my opinion. HOT runs hotels in the smaller US markets (non-conference hotels) and they will not be hit as hard as the larger chains operating in the New York and LA markets. Any thoughts on the prospects and valuation after the drubbing?
Q: On March 6th you mentioned in an answer to question from Dave that Chorus Aviation would be ok to hold if you have the correct time frame. Do you still feel that way? What are the chances of a dividend cut?
Q: If not already asked....opinion on Q4/19 results & guidance on Photon Control...Q1/20 pre-lim revenue looks great. Did 5i listen in on conference call today?? Thanks as always, jb Piedmont QC PS: everyone stay safe & healthy
Q: Could you give me an update on Score: fundamentals, structure of business, and ability to ride out the lack of professional sports being played. I'm assuming it has very little if any cash flow right now or are there other sources of income besides sports. Thanks.
Q: In light of the company's audit and material weakness in financial reporting, what would you suggest someone holding a full position of one's growth portfolio? It is very close to the 52 week low but given the size, should it really matter? Get out at any cost, or count it as dead money until it gets back on its feet with outsized percentage returns? Is it fair to say the business model has little financial risk; mostly it is the reputation that fetches clients?
