Q: Two companies for which you appear to have a favourable view seem to be seriously struggling as far as their stock price goes. There seems to be little interest from investors as is evident from the low trading volume. Would you recommend continued patience and holding on or should I let them go and move the money to more productive areas. No chance for tax losses as they are in a LIRA. Thanks as always.
Q: Have not seen any further announcements on the Apple settlement. How much of this would you think is already included in the current stock price?
Recent results and a stock buyback seems to be very positive. Do you have an opinion on the long term outlook (3-5 years) for Quarterhill?

Years ago, I used to swing trade Bombardier; recently, I looked up the ticker and was quite surprised to see it at ~$0.30 CND. Well, I am not considering betting the farm, I was wondering if this company is at risk of being delisted or considering a reverse stock split, of which I am not a fan. Or have they received a sweetheart government contract to start producing respirators and vaccines ; ) jk
Seriously though, please advise if you would touch this company with the tip of a ten-foot pole, or stay clear of it like a long term care home in Quebec.
Q: Can you pleas comment on the significance of CMS’s decision to cancel competitive bidding for PTQ’s product offerings? I assume this was a big business risk that has effectively been taken off the table? Thanks
I have a very small spec position in Bitfarms who secure cheap power and lease state of the art computing power to mine bitcoin. They promote their good "mining margin" and "mining profit" (non-IFRS measures) however they still show a net loss (Q2 2020). Could you give a non-accountant like me the readers digest version of where all the money vanishes between the "mining profit " and the net loss. Also, your view on future prospects for BITF would be appreciated. I am up 40% on a small investment - take the money and run or does this thing have the potential to be one of those 2 or 3x home runs? I feel compelled to add that I believe my #1 investing mistake is selling too soon. Perhaps more than 1 question so deduct as required,
Q: Hi there, is it time to get on the BUS, and go for a nice long ride? Momentum and volume look great, maybe a large order finally on the horizon for them? Insiders are buying!
Regarding QTRH, a lot of shares are being purchased, for cancellation by the company? Will this reflect well for their 3Q release coming soon, based on their per share numbers? Momentum and volume look good here too!
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Q: Can you see this company moving foward in the near future.
And my other question is on the article that you have sent over on BBTV. Will this company go public on the tsx soon, if yes would you know when. Thank you very much for all the tips you have given your subscribers during these difficult times. WILSON
Q: The Company has sent out their year end shareholder information for the AGM. I note that three insiders own approx 51% of the Company.
Additionally, the Company has stated that it is reviewing all options and has created a committee to do so.
My question for 5i is, if the three majority shareholders wished to take the Company private, how would that occur, is there a threshold they would need to take it private, and what options are there for a shareholder?
Q: Your answer to Jo-Anne's question this morning about Reliq's contract announcement seems fair (another 'good' contract but previous one's haven't translated into much revenue).
However, there was a 2nd simultaneous press release regarding a 'Non-Brokered Private Placement' in which they announce their on-boarding partners (one of them being the new contract announcement this morning) have invested in the company. At first a raise at the low share price seems negative but when your clients invest in your company, you would think they'd be motivated to onboard patients to increase revenue. Does this drastically change the risk/reward for an investor in RHT?
Q: Been watching Vitalhub and like what the company is doing. They announced a financing at $2.90 and the stock fell hard on the news. Thinking it be maybe worth a starter position below the $2.90 price point. Would you buy here or wait for things to settle down?
