Q: Hello,
I am wondering if you can weigh in on these two companies and make a case of which one (if either) are worthy of new money.
VTEX - recent IPO sitting just above IPO pricing. Sounds like a sort of baby Shopify with a Latin American focus and some major clients on board. Small market cap. Would you endorse this or stay away?
WRLD - Friday recommendation in another service and it sounds something like a small, US based version of GSY. It seems to be doing well and the stock price is reflecting that in recent months. Do you like or not and why?
I guess an overriding question would be if these small caps offer enough growth to justify not just putting money to work in SHOP (vs VTEX) or WRLD (vs GSY).
Q: Requesting your thoughts on the company since I didn't find any recent answers on it. Can you please provide your thoughts on recent financials, amazon (or other contract awards) and finally, would you buy it as 1% of the portfolio as a growth stock ?
Can I please get an update on your opinion of Canacol Energy (CNE). Seems to be breaking out, buying back shares and paying a nice 6% dividend yield. Is the dividend sustainable?
Q: I hold small positions in a basket of speculative tech stocks. The above three are those that to date have not performed well. I would appreciate your comment upon each, and whether they should continue to be held.
Q: I asked this last week but haven't seen a response yet, so ignore if the answer is pending. I hold these as a basket of spec stocks looking for extreme growth. I've done well with all but MTLO and I'm wondering if it still fits here or if I should let it go and roll into the remainder. Would you have a favorite one or two from this list? Any you would run away from?
Q: Thinking of adding a small TFSA position with one of these, looking for a potential “pop” with a 5 year outlook without regard to risk. Is there one you like better than than others for that potential?
Appreciate your insight as always.
Q: In the past few days, I've read a number of what seem to be highly promotional articles on Draganfly. I'd like to have a more down-to-earth view of the company's potential and limitations. Can you share any insights you might have on it? I'm a long-term investor (5 to 10 years).
