Investment Q&A

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: RE my question about criteria for buyable microcaps. I cannot remember anything specific to help locate this item in the feed. As an alternative, could you suggest several criteria to help deciding if a microcap is worth considering for purchase: e.g., certain level of booked revenues etc.
Thanks, David

Q: Could you please compare these two companies post split. What is the business area differences they seem to very similar.
Could you also comment on their recent earning and potential trajectory.
Vmd raised a lot of money and I don’t see any action
Ptq seems to be more aggressively growing their business and very positive. Vmd is very quiet and not promotional. The both seem to be in an excellent space long and short term.

Q: Could you please comment on VHI's latest licensing deal.
Thanks as always.

VitalHub Corp. (the “Company” or “VitalHub”) (TSXV: VHI) is pleased to announce a multi-year large-scale licensing transaction of recently acquired subsidiary Intouch with Health’s (“Intouch”) Synopsis product with South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (the “Trust” or “South Tees”).

This transaction is among VitalHub’s largest to-date, comprising a 5-year licensing contract for the Company’s proprietary, award-winning Synopsis platform. From initial questionnaire through to post-operative outcomes, Synopsis provides the necessary tools to enable hospitals to manage the entire pre-operative assessment process digitally – removing paper trails, increasing data security, and delivering significant organizational and economic benefits.

Q: Hi 5i Team!

I would be interrested in your view on Vitreous Glass Inc. The Ticker is VCI.
It came across my radar this afternoon, looks to me to be very underestimated.
Trading at $4.29. Average Price Target on Yahoo is $30.50. with a 12% dividend.

I'd love to get your thoughts. Looks to be very undervalued.

Thanks!

Q: Greetings and thanks for all that you do in helping retail investors.

3 or more questions here so deduct as many credits as needed.

What would 5i think of CMX? Looks like they have interest in a nickel operation as well as copper and gold. This came on my radar as a member of a group I share ideas with saw it possibly in a financial post article. All the same I would appreciate your opinion on CMX for a small speculative battery material/commodity play. What to be careful of and what to be hopeful for. Risks ect.

Also while we are on the topic of battery materials I would be interested in 5is general opinion of the sector? I have seen various sources stating battery materials are in short supply and are expected to be a major issue as we move to greater adoption of E-VEHICLEs. Further, what companies do you like for battery materials?

Lastly, I currently hold a 1.75% position in NOU which I think should do ok but would like 5i honest opinion here as well. Ill be hanging on to this for 3-5 years all the same.

Cheers and thanks for the insights.

Q: Hello Peter,
Robert McWhirter on BNN was a big advocate of Xebec but on Fridays call Feb 26th he was not as keen as the stock has run up alot.. He did say it is a good stock for 1 to 2 years timeframe. However, if i understood correctly, he has shifted his dollars to CMC, Cielo Waste Solutions and within an hour the stock shot up 80 percent. I understand this is speculation on behalf of retail investors and not an endorsement by Mr. McWhirter to jump on it.. He is basically be re-positioning his weights as i understood and sees greater upside. He is a solid picker but i have no idea of how much he owns so would like your opinion. Since XBC moved over to TSX and i understand there is a management change, I just did not think the stock would be become a dog so quickly. I have a large position and am patient. Do you think it is worth holding on for the 1 to 2 years or longer timeframe or should i move some money into CMC. . I am noticing the same with Greenlane renewables. I was hoping that going to tsx , institutions would be jumping onto XBC and GRN given the green initiatives, but it does not look like it , atleast up to now. Please provide your comments and would appreciate it.
