If China in sanctioned by the West for supporting Russia would this leave companies like Dollarama vulnerable, as they source lots of Chinese products for their stores?
Q: Considering I want safety, then income, then growth…this looks a time to buy more of ISV. Those quarterly earnings appear to have impressed nobody but me! Am I missing something? Is it just the market has different priorities…ie growth first.
Q: Everyone, a year or so ago I asked about investing a small amount of money ($500) in a long shot. You suggested Martello - well I sold out after a 50% loss. Do you have another idea to invest $500, with the thought that I could lose 100% of my investment. Clayton
Q: Thanks for the recent report on FSV. I am attracted to this name, but could never persuade myself to buy because of valuation. I am hopeful that one day I'll pull the trigger.
However, two risks that you mention - somewhat slim margins and low barriers to entry - make me hesitate a bit. In a prolonged bear-market / struggling economy, how would you see FSV perform compared to the competition? Would margins compress even more in that situation, and maybe risk losing major contracts? Or are their competitors weaker in that environment, and perhaps this would provide FSV with an advantage ? Any thoughts on this ?
Q: I have been looking at diversifying away from my TAL.v holding somewhat while staying within the junior oil & gas space. What is your opinion of KEI's short-to-medium term prospects?
Q: Would you agree that this would be a good time to buy shares on theses two companies before their Q4. They both gave a preliminary report which looked excellent.
Q: A member recently asked if there are any Canadian companies comparable to PANW. Although it is no where near the scale of PANW, I learned about PLUR last year from 5i Q&A's and found it intriguing. Below is a description from your DB that might be of interest to your reader.

Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you provide an update on the fundamentals of Headwater Gold including cash on hand, debt (if any), insider ownership, quality of management. This company was mentioned recently on the Metals Investor Forum and sounds like it has quite a bit going for it including 10 projects, 100 % owned with some encouraging drill results. Also could you give your opinion on the upside potential of this company as well as the possibility of a need to raise capital for further exploration. At this point there are only 50 million shares which doesn't seem like a lot for a junior resource company. Thanks.
Q: In spite of a pretty good valuation, a not-so-bad quarter, and good potential Acuity Ads still continues to drift lower. A previous question on this company indicated that there might be some concern over management - that they were not too impressive. Could you provide your opinion on management and if they have what it takes to turn this company around over the next couple of years. Thanks.
