Q: Well Health had a nice bounce today. Looks like the market liked their results. Would appreciate your thoughts and is now a good time to start a position.?
Volume was also high at 2.9M. Would this indicate institutional investors are buying?
Thanks
John
Q: Hello 5i,
I currently own these 2 picks of yours from a couple months ago.
Just wondering if you still like in the mid to long term or if they are a dump and move on? If its a move on where should i move $$ to?
Thanks
I have been a longtime holder of Absolute and am always a bit perplexed by the big swings in share price (often with no new news). They just released their latest earning report and the stock is down 15%. Your thoughts on earning? Was it that bad? Do you see this stock as reaching it's recent highs in the next two years?
With Nickel +$10 and oil and fertilizer up (and knowing the problems with getting paid from Cuba) and EVs, which will need "infinite" amounts of Nickel, would you invest in Sherritt at this time for a 10yr time horizon?
The results today out of Pet Value looked good. Can you please comment on the results and if you would rate this company as a buy or sell. If a buy, how bullish would you be on the company and how would it compare to something like an ATD or DOL?
Q: It has gone from $7 to a little over $4 as I write this.
Was the report that bad? Also do you think that report by
Murray Wealth Group (which said they will miss earnings on the high side)
looks to be correct?
Q: I need more exposure to health care as well as small caps so I have been investigaring NBLY. I assume Neighboorly is considered health care and not consumer staples? There seems to be an investment company, I believe it is PCP, that has over 50 per cent of the shares. Is that a good or bad and why? Obviously I am a retail investor so liquidity is not a big issue since I won't need to trade large blocks of shares. But does a small float, assuming PCP does not intend to sell shares, create a more volatile share price? I don't mind volatility as long as the trend is up and to the right. Apparently they raised money in secondary offerings in the high $20's. That means that people supposedly far smarter than me thought Neighboorly is worth more than it's current share price. Should I take comfort in that?
Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you comment on the background of the new CEO of Diamond Estate and whether you think this will lead to a better outlook for this company.. I realize it is a micro cap with all the inherent risks but is the balance sheet enough to give it a chance to grow and eventually become profitable. Also what are the insider holdings. Thanks.
Q: Chesswood, North American Construction and Hammond Power Systems all produced some very good Q3 results. All look very cheap on a p/e basis. Would like to hear some comments about each as possible purchases in a diversified portfolio. I hold some HPS, but not the other 2.
Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you provide an update on MDF's debt and balance sheet. From a question on today's Market Call, it has either sold off a small division or is in the process of doing this. How significantly would this affect the balance sheet. Also do you see any indications that the company is striving harder to achieve profitability and better margins. Thanks.
Q: Converge has had quite a significant drop recently and reached a new 52 week low.
What are the reasons for this drop? Should I continue to watch before I add more to my still "green" position?
Thanks for your help
Albert
