Q: Volume has been picking up. Who is buying? Are funds buying or is it mostly retail buyers. At what point do funds really start to show interest and buy? At what point is there a possibility of a larger company making an offer for PNG? Tough question, but if you look 12 months out, what range do you see the price at?
Q: Could you please describe what ENS does and what its future growth looks like? Could you also summarize what in the ENS fundamentals contribute to it being a strong small cap investment?
Q: Are the increasing delinquencies and fraud risks with auto lenders priced into GSY's pullback recently. With Tricolor, Firstbrands and Primalend now having major issues in the auto lending space, and a short report released not long ago which pointed out concerns with their auto lending risk. Its hard to tell if the pullback is mostly broader economy concerns and the auto risk may be another factor that will pull it down as delinquencies are increasing in North America, and if so we likely see more downside. Also does Propel do any auto loans, and if not does it seem like the better buy since its being dragged down with all the lenders? Thx
With this week's pending earnings release, do think the boogeyman - SBC - will rear ist ugly head again? This stock always runs into earnings and drops dramatically. Thx
Q: Hi Team,
Any news on PNG today? Seems to be on a tear but I can't find anything on it. Seems like every time I feel like adding to the name it takes another big leap up. A good problem to have I suppose. Would you recommend waiting for a cool down before adding more to this name? Or maybe just let the position grow on it's own merit? Right now its a 2.6% weighting in my stock portfolio.
Q: This small copper mine in the BC interior has seen some heavy volume and a nice rise recently based on Captain Canada's David Eby's talk of expediated permitting for the mine expansion!
Would love your analysis on this one on the viability of this taking place and is it worth a small bet?
Q: What are your thoughts on this small cap stock and their switch in direction to becoming a growth stock with the new management that has been in place for awhile.
Thanks
Matthew
Q: Looking to add oil sector to my portfolio (price of barrel near multi year low). What these two would you prefer, how possible is a large multi increase over the next 5 years?
Q: Had a small position in this tiny company years ago and basically forgot about it!
Would you give me your thoughts and analysis of them today and is there a chance they may survive and thrive?
Q: Hi 5i,
For these 3 companies, how would you rank them with regards to management and future growth prospects?
Would you be buyers of any of them at this time or wait until a particular time in the future?
If buying them now, in what order would you buy them (best to worst)?
Thank you!
Q: I recently came across some news about this company, namely that it had suddenly terminated a strategic review to maximize shareholder value, and instead has sold a $60M asset with the intention to distribute the proceeds (0.90 on a $1.35 share!) to its shareholders. You have just one (older) question on this company. Can you comment on it in general, and also specifically on this procedure: how this might benefit the company and what will happen to its valuation?
Q: Is there a solid business here- do you think an investor buying at these low prices will be rewarded? If Plantro gives up an sells its shares I am thinking if they can find a single strategic purchaser it might be a catalyst.
