Investment Q&A

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: Aehr Test System (AEHR) recently announce offering of common shares $25 million of shares. In a sense, for this offering, the working capital will be increase by $25 millions. But the total number of shares outstanding will be increase by $25 millions. In the short term, there is $25 million of shares available for sale.
My question,
(1) Is my understanding of what I said above is correct?
(2) what do you think, why a company raise money At-the-Market instead of through the dealer of slot sale to the public.
(3) what do you think, the impact on share price short term and long term.

Q: Good morning 5i. I appears that I am the first to ask a question about D-Wave. Quantum computing intrigues me but this looks like a sad story. The stock has gone from about $12 to $1 in roughly 6 months since initially listed. I watched the May 2022 webcast and my non-financial analysis view i.e., looking at body language, the team, etc. was not good.

What is 5i's view of any potential financial positive outcome, realizing that Mrs. Market has expressed deep concern. I don't own but would love to hear your analysis/view.

Q: Both APPS and ADW released results last night. I am down over 50% on both. What are your thoughts on these ... should I just take my lumps and move on ? If you suggest keeping, please provide a rationale.

Q: HI

RET appears to be going up on low volume.

Based on their long history in the business, could this be a turn around story?

Their client base is different than ATZ.

Thank you

Mike

Q: If I look at STC I see that the 52 week high is $20.36 and also that from looking at analyst ratings via TD I notice that 3 out of 3 rate it a buy with a price target of $16.17. When I see something like that it gives me a warm fuzzy that this is a good buy at this level and appears to have a lot of upside. I fully realize that there is no guarantee that just because it went that high in the past it does not mean that it will go back to that level. Having said that, it appears to have a lot of potential as I see it. You also seem to like this one.

Just to make a comparison (I know it is a different sector but that does not matter) let’s have a look at CS. This is one that 5I appears to like as well and that I am considering buying. TD has this one showing as 6 out of 6 analysts rating a it a buy but the price target is $5.83 (-3.01% downside).

Why would the price target on this one be so low and how much potential does this have in your opinion?
