Q: Hi everyone at 5i!!
I bought this stock prior to the market drop and am now 47% in the hole with it. I can either sell it and take a loss and buy it back later, or keep it for the next 5 years in hopes it will rebound. In these situations I sometimes don’t know what to do. I don’t need the money at the moment and having owned the stock before and done well with it I think it should do well again. Your musings would be welcome ! Cheers, Tamara

Q: ,After the 2 divestments in a few weeks DOC have recouped 9M$. Were those divisions cash flow positive? Will this new intake of cash help them navigate through this bad period and until the stock moves up before they have to issue stock. What would be their cash burn rate after the sale of these 2 divisions? I assume those were net positives for the company.

DEEEEEP under water, I don't expect to ever get back in the money unless I keep the stock several years if they make it there. In a registered account there is no point for tax selling. Bad investment, bad timing. Do you have an answer that can make me smile again? LOL LOL
Thank you

Yves

Q: Can you please comment on two items for Converge: the level of share dilution over the past couple of years, and the percentage of goodwill on the balance sheet. Are either of these concerning? Need to be watched? What about the likely future trajectory for these factors? I am considering taking a position here but these things have be reconsidering. Thanks.

Q: I have been searching for some beaten down industrial names and I came across AirBoss. I owned it a few years ago so I was somewhat familiar with the company. I noticed that in the past year it traded as $47 WOW and now it is just over $7. I realize that the big Covid contracts for nitrile gloves and respirators. etc. drove the price up and those contracts have dried up, but still only $7ish dollars. They have other divisions, like automotive, that are not covid dependent and the defense and safety segment is still relevant (It was relevant before Covid!!) So what is not to like about BOS when it is in the $7ish dollar range? At this price the dividend yields close to 6 per cent. I would be content collecting a year or two in dividends while waiting for earnings to stabilize or sentiment to change. But is the dividend safe? It is 10 cents per quarter and earnings were 9 cents but cash flow was decent. debt is a little high but it doesn't seem onerous. Then again, I am not an accountant!!

Q: In a previous comment you stated "Five stocks that we feel will perform well over a long term period are: TSU, NVDA, SHOP, CSU, and INMD." In regards to INMD, what are your thoughts on other competitors in medical aesthetics, such as CUTR, ABBV, SIEN, or others I may have left out? What makes INMD more desirable in your opinion?

Q: I own these three companies in my micro cap account and each is currently down considerably from where I bought them.
What is your outlook for these companies over the next couple of years and is this a time to be adding to my positions or continue to wait for any tax loss selling to potentially occur and/or the market to turn?
Thanks, Rick

Q: Since we are entering what will probably be a very active end-of- year tax loss selling season , wondering if you will be providing a Report on potential candidates as you have in previous years ?
More specifically , I am interested in one such candidate - CPLF - which is off about 80 % from its high with sell-off accelerating over the past week chopping off about a quarter of its value on much heavier than normal volume.
Would you consider this company as one worth taking a chance on ?
Or better candidates in the context of many such huge sell-offs this year ?
Thank-you.
