Q: Although I'm not big into oil and gas with TOU being my only holding, this name showed up on screen of companies which may have low debt, decent earnings and dividend and upside potential. I realize its small in size, but wondering if I can get your opinion? Would it make it on to your buy list?

Q: CTS is in the red today and below four dollars. This is on the greenest day of the last month. Do you believe it will be stuck here until they announce their intentions of the review.
Q: Hi there, can I please have your opinion on a company called Envela. Would you rate this company a buy, sell or hold?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: VIRT has been banged up recently due, reportedly, to changes in U.S. regulations and their perceived impact. Do you feel that VIRT's stock price has over-reacted and that it might now be considered a buy?
Q: Any idea what caused the 12% pop in NKL today? There hasn't been any news for a month from what I see although that news was basically good. Thanks.
Q: I am looking at DNG and it has been a while since you last commented on them. The PE is attractive and has a small dividend with projected growth. Is their location in Peru too much of a detriment to even consider?

Q: My MO is to look at positive-earnings and earnings-growth stocks with price momentum in the past year that seem to be temporarily stalling in the previous month.
Any thoughts on PARR, VIST, CROX, OSG, NRDS?

Q: If forced to give a percentage chance of CWB failing, what would it be. CWB looks like a decent buy to me at the moment. Yield is good, payout ratio is reasonable, last report was okay, they are becoming more widely involved across Canada, etc. However, they are relatively small and by nature more involved with somewhat riskier loans. Is this a bank you would invest in right now?

Q: Can you name your top 3 small cap growth Canadian stocks that, suddenly, are now looking very attractive and provide the main catalyst for recommending each. Also, name 3 growth stocks that were recommended as being attractive but no longer make the list and why.
Q: hi folks..hold Digital Turbine..any/much significance to n/r today announcing ..."Flexion and Digital Turbine Announce Strategic Partnership to Unlock Alternative App Distribution and Superior Monetization"....stock bouncing off recent lows but need the experts opinion on news haha...Buy/Hold/Sell...thanks as always, jb Piedmont QC
Q: As you know, both of these companies are currently undergoing "strategic reviews" which presumably are related to potential buyouts from companies expressing interest. I agree with your assessment that successful buyouts would entail prices at least $2 per share above existing price levels. I am surprised that buyers are not loading up at these prices given the significant possibility of such a price surge withing a 2-3 month timeframe. What am I missing?

I have a small position. This company is halted. Can you tell me why...are they going bankrupt? Thank you!

Q: Dear 5i,
I am interested in buying a Canadian stock that sells carbon credits. I believe LCFS sells carbon credits but is a small cap and the price has been trending dramatically down since their IPO over a year ago. In your opinion, does this company have substance for a patient investor willing to hold a maximum 2% postition in a TFSA? What do you think would be an attractive entry price?

Q: Hi 5i Team - I plan to sell most of my Enthusiast Gaming and use the money for something with a better balance sheet and a decent prospect for growth. Do you have any suggestions for stocks that trade below $5.00 including any that might be under $1.00 which is where EGLX has been trading for some time now. Any sector or market cap is fine. Thanks you.
Q: PXMD By 11:00 today it has traded almost 12 million shares which is the total shares outstanding. There is no news release. Something similar happened with this company not so long ago. Shouldn't regulators care about this. Atleast a halt.
Q: Can I please have your view on GAMA?

Q: I am considering buying this company which seems to have a lot going for it. I would like your opinion with any negative aspects included.
I would probably hold for several years assuming all goes well.
Look forward to hearing from you Maureen

Q: Hi 5i,
A couple of somewhat related questions:
I'm curious about the 'expression of interest' someone (or some thing) may have made known to CTS management in the past while. Would a potential purchaser be allowed a peek at the quarterly numbers before they were released yesterday in furtherance of its due diligence research, or have to await the release like the rest of us? My guess is the former, tied to a confidentiality agreement, but I'm not sure if that's the case with a publicly traded company.
And, also wondering: if the numbers were decent - as I thought they were - and no purchase deal gets announced quite soon, is it safe to assume there's likely nothing brewing? Or is it all just a black box until something - anything - is formally announced?
Thanks!
Peter
