Q: High growth stocks. A recent NP piece by Peter H. advised investors consider these vs. conservative picks coming out of a bear market. "Stocks that used to be 50X sales are now 3X sales and still growing at 50%+...a Bloomberg screen shows 982 companies with 50% sales growth in the next year."

Could you provide 10 Cdn. stocks in this category or better yet provide a link to the Bloomberg screen. Thanks.

Q: In a potentially inflationary, or even a potentially stagflation environment I like the composition of this small cap ETF since it is slightly overweight on industrials and materials - Would you agree?

It appears quite cheap. Is that mainly because of the cyclical nature of a lot of their holdings?

I'm seeing a 5.67% yield. Would this be sustainable in the mentioned potential economic environment? On one hand these are small caps, which perhaps puts that yield at risk. On the other hand, one would think that the materials and industrial make-up would help hold it up. Thoughts ?

Q: Reko released excellent y/e results yesterday.
The company is now debt free and focused on robotic factory automation & precision machining.
During the past couple years Reko has paid a special dividend and bought back over 5% of their o/s shares while growing their book value to over $8.
Do you feel that the company is undervalued and is a prime candidate for a privatization or take over?

Q: I currently hold positions in two drillers - CET and HWO. I am looking to consolidate my holdings into one driller. CET and HWO are pursuing very different strategies going forward. CET is acquiring firms and HWO is divesting assets. In your opinion what is the better company to keep or is it too close to call?

Q: According to my discount broker, the Toronto Stock and Venture Exchange made the decision to eliminate "All or None" orders back in 2008. However, the US exchanges still offer the ability to choose this option.

This is a pain when selling low trading volume stocks, resulting in delays in exiting a position and multiple commissions. Are there any strategies you employ when you want to exit thinly traded positions?

Definitely something I will pay better attention to before purchasing stocks in the future!

Many Thanks
Scott

Q: Hello, I sold SYZ a month ago for tax-loss purposes. I thought I would buy it back if the share price was below what I sold it for (it is). I hesitate to buy it because I worry the co will cut its dividend to fund growth and/or reduce debt, which would hurt the share price quite a bit. Should I wait until the 3rd quarter reporting in November in the hope that the co will be clearer on its intent to keep the div as is? Thanks.

Q: I am curious if your opinion of these two firms has changed. I am interested if you see any catalysts for significant growth from either of them. I do realise they are - or at least were - high risk. Just looking for some play money attempts at a 10 bagger plus! Some of my comments are below.

1) In the last couple of years ZDC has managed to move in to something we might be able to call profit, and their market cap has grown from your $4 million estimate in 2019 to about $30 million today.

2) AMI you called a sell in 2020. Their fracking sand was supposed to be a hot thing for them for years now, and I do see "some" movement in that direction, but slowly indeed.

Q: Hi 5i team.

Looking to add a few penny stocks to my play money account.
When do they (ADCO) report next and what is expected please.
I have patience. Do you see a future for this company and it's stock price.
Can you suggest 3-5 small caps similar with better potential from here?

Many thanks.
