Q: Hi 5i: I have a full position in BN. Thinking of selling partial positions in BAM or BIP and/or PRL. In addition to add to the torque of RIFs considering adding partial positions in ZDC, VHI and ELVA. Please rank the order of the sells and the order of buys. Your opinion on this strategy is much valued. Thanks

Q: Kraken Robotics was added to your Growth Portfolio in April, 2025 at $2.42 and has already more than doubled in a short span of less than 6 months, which is amazing !!
This co. continues to be one of your Top picks, as seen from recent posts.

Would you be comfortable starting a New position at current levels ( for a growth investor ), if not owned already or adding more to the 5i Growth Portfolio ?

Thank You

Q: Canada will be buying 12 submarines either from Germany or South Korea. Quite a bit of their building/assembly will be done in Canada. Is there a role for Kraken to play in this? I don't know enough of Kraken's batteries but supposedly they are state of the art.
Could their batteries be used in the contract? How big would this be for the company? I raise the use of their batteries as a real possibility because Australia recently announced a $1.6B contract for new submarines and PNG stock rose significantly on the news because Kraken would likely supply batteries for the subs. Throw in the fact that Kraken is greatly increasing battery manufacturing capacity both in Germany and Nova Scotia and it all points to possibly very big things for the company. Finally, has the stock price gotten ahead of itself. It certainly has been on a tear.

Q: As you said about DND in the last answer 'that's just this week' and the week wasn't over!

If you looked at DND as a target and assume it can get a fair valuation for its business, what do you think that range is? or in other words if someone believed they could buy the business and not the drama what is the range? Any guesses on who might be buyers?

Q: Hi Peter…QS and GLW announced yesterday an agreement for the development and commercialization of ceramic separators presumably for QS’s batteries. There were no details. I think this is another positive step for QS and also for GLW too. No financial details were provided in the press release. Does Bloomberg have any information on the joint venture? Any change in QS’s short interest? Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.
Incidentally Jim Cramer appears to be quite bullish on GLW generally. I suppose if your company might just be making parts for an improved EV automotive battery that would be a positive. “Build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door”!
Thanks,
Jim

Q: Hi there, with such high interest in Chatterbox ( to be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Oct 3) and with the QYOU being a majority shareholder, how should this affect the QYOU stock price going forward? Keeping in mind that India has banned Tik Tok and that Chatterbox is the "Tik Tok" of India.
Thank you,
KT

Q: Hi 5i,

Would appreciate you thoughts on DND's current prospects.

Given all the negative news surrounding the company, does it make sense to continue to hold on to the potential chance that the company will be bought out and taken private?

Otherwise will most likely sell before year end to take advantage of the tax loss.

Appreciate the service as always.

Thanks,

Greg C.
