Q: I just received notice of offerings for FCR @ $19.80 and CUF.UN @ 19.65
I hold both of these and am only recently above water on them ...I seem to recall buying Cominar as an offering not long ago ... Are these healthy investments - should I buy more, should I be concerned , or should I wait and see ???

Thanks

Q: What do you think of MRD? It looks very cheap to me trading at about 60%BV, modest debt and very low payout ratio. I wouldn't think that there would be much downside at the current price level?
Thanks

Q: In regards to the 10 sectors in your answer on Jan 22, could you tell me what sector Real Estate would be part of. I have 2 REITS that fall under real estate.
What is our opinion on REITS at this time as interest rates dropped .25%?

Q: Hello Peter,

Can I please get your views on NorthWest International Healthcare Properties REIT . It is a small company with a market cap of approx 172m and 400m of debt. It pays an 8% div and has properties in Australasia, Brazil, Canada and Germany with less than 20% revenue in Canada. My concern is it has lots of debt but the affo is increasing substantially. If you know of another international healthcare REIT that might be better to investigate.
Thank you for the great service

Q: Hi team:
the XRE has broke through the 50 days and I believed the 200 days MA
I am aware that an increase in interest rate could have negative impact on the Reits
Is there any fundamental reasons to support the technical trend ?
thanks for educating us!

Q: In replying today to Paul's question about chartwell versus leisureworld, you refer to them both as REITs. The TMX website's sector description for chs.un is REITs and for LW it is healthcare. I was considering LW for exposure to the healthcare sector, but don't want to load up on more REITs. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Q: Leisureworld (LW) or Chartwell (CSH.UN)? I am looking to buy and hold for 3-5 years and interested in both growth and dividend.
Thanks always for your great advice,
Paul
