Q: hello Peter, Will you prefer AW.UN ( as it is in income portfolio) over HR.UN, for income, stability and overall return. I am holding HR.Un for over a year and it is trailing AW.un by a wide margin. So thinking of switching. Do you advise it. your opinion, please. Thanks.

Q: What do you anticipate for the 4th Quarter report for this REIT ? After a steady decline in price in 2014, the past 3 months shows a steady price around $4.00. This stock is rated 8 out of 10 by Thompson Reuters, and there has been strong insider buying over the past year. Yet most analysts rank it as a hold due to high payout. Your call ?
Q: Could you comment on the combination of Northwest healthcare and Northwest International Healthcare ?
Q: BPY.UN suffered a big decline on Friday which makes me wonder if there is a major problem. Could you please explain. Many thanks. Anne
Q: Thank you for your cautionary note in your reply to my REITs question. May I assume you meant AX.UN - Artist - as one of your recommendations?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: REIT pricing looks especially attractive after today's price declines. I have six REITs that I purchased six years ago and would like to hold them for life. Now, I am looking at adding to my weighting to bring it to 15% from 10%. I know there may be minor further damage when rates rise but the average dividend is now well over seven percent. What do you think and which would be your top three names in this environment? Thanks.

Q: Hi Peter et al.
I have got my research done on tmc vs ai,however, there seems to be some disagreement on how rising int rates will affect MICS. I am told by some pundits that rising rates will allow them to command a wider spread, hence more profit. Others claim
investors will move to other places. The same with reits. Your
comments please? Also would you comment on Ivanhoe Mines. The sun rises and sets on it according to your o;ld colleague RICK
RUlE. Also please comment on KOBEX CAPITAL- PAUL VAN EDEN.23 mil mkt cap cash 35 mil. Phoscan chemical LOts of cash but done nothing for years.
THANKS FOR EVERYTHING
BEN

Q: What do you think of MR.UN as a way to passively play a gradual rebound in oil prices, while getting an 8% yield in the meantime?
Q: share price up nicely this year. has something changed in the outlook for this reit? it reported earnings last week and the market seemed to approve.
Q: WHAT SHOULD ONE, A YIELD INVESTOR DO WITH TEMPLE REIT -TRADING CURRENTLY AROUND 2.74$
Q: HI TEAM
I am interested in adding some REITS to portfolio. I own none presently.
1. is this a good time to look at REITS ?
2. How would Bank of Canada changes in interest rates affect sector (the 5i mantra seems to be that earnings and interest rates are the key to looking a company.
3. based on data base you have access to can you classify the following according to the 3 most important metrics to look at for this sector (what are the metrics ? and their values) I think these 3 are the best looking but have trouble with confidence in globe and mail data
HR.UN-T
D.UN-T
AX.UN-T
how would you rank these 3 or do you think others are better from a "value" or safer (maintaining dividend point of view) ?
many thanks
Ernie
by the way, if I understood from my readings on REITS, I am more tax advantaged to hold them in a registered account than an open account ??

Q: Hi team:
this stock went up to $ 33, now pulled back to $ 30
Is there any reason (fundamental) for the pull-back ?
last time someone asked about cWT.un was in Oct last year
I made a 40% profit, buy, hold or sell ? I like the dividend
thanks!

Q: Hi Peter and team, how would rate Boardwalk compare to Chartwell CHS.un and HR.un? Thanks, Gervais
Q: Could you please tell me what you see when you 'screen' MTGE? When I look at the fundamental data and ratios on the TD Direct Markets & Research screen, they seem fine. I'm no pro, so am I missing something here? 14% yield. 84% payout ratio. $1B market cap. Besides using a service such as 5i, what else can a retail investor do to determine if a stock is "decent" or "junk".
Thank you
Thank you
Q: I have a comment and question. Comment: I appreciated hearing 5i recommending the purchase of Enbridge ENB for a U.S. investment. I don't feel confident about any company in the way I feel confident about the top 5i recommendations. Canadian-based companies that I believe are viewed highly by 5i and that trade on the U.S. exchanges include OTC, STN, BAM, BEP, ENB, FSV, BNS, SLF, GIL, Telus, DSG, Goldcorp, and more. A list can be found at http://www.superstockpicker.com/canadian_US_stock_symbols.html
Question: The one U.S. company I feel a personal connection with is Macerich MAC, as I knew the founder and remember in the early 80s when he was complaining that Wall Street gave him no respect! That's since changed. But I knew he was a good guy and I feel confident about the culture of the company. They own shopping centers. Do you have a comment on MAC? Thank you.

Q: What is your opinion on Morguard? Looking at it as a possible real estate investment.
Q: What is the 5i take on the new agreement between Riocan and HBC?
Thanks.

Q: Could you please comment on the latest earning numbers of Leisure World and rank Leisure World, Chartwell (CSH.UN)and Regal Life Styles (RLC). Ok to own all three as part of a diversified portfolio for income and some growth in a low interest rate environment?
Thank you
Dave.
Thank you

Q: May I please have your opinion on HCP Inc. for Income with a 2-3 year timeframe. Thank-you.
Q: InnVest REIT INN_UN
There has been an uptick in insider buying on the public market. The next Ex Div date is 25 February. Is this one worth jumping into at current price? Thanks
