Q: What is your take on the recent run up of DREAM? It has been a long road to gains on the stock so I'm wondering what your outlook is for the company?

Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (The) (XLRE)
Q: I'm interested in 2 lo-volatility stocks, with some dividend and some momentum for a minimum of 2 years. Most of these REITs mentioned have lots of hold recommendations, but very few buys despite their recent outperformance?? Are they overbought? Can you pick 1 or 2 US REITS for me and 2 CDN reits as well?

Signature Global REIT Class Series A (CIG50005)
Q: I am a retired conservative dividend income investor. I've held Sentry Global REIT for years (love the 6% distribution) and have been monitoring its performance as compared to ZRE and XRE. I didn't mind paying the 2.4% MER as long as it was outperforming. However, on a total return basis, Sentry has lagged significantly and I have sold it today.
With interest rates appearing to be on the decline and, more importantly, for portfolio asset allocation, I still want to have REIT exposure. I am leaning towards ZRE, due to the equal weight nature (as opposed to XRE).
I am normally a long term buy-and-hold investor. ZRE has had a good run recently, but I think the future still looks good, due to the macro environment. Your thoughts?
My target REIT allocation is 7.5%. I also have a position in CSH.
Thanks for your help...Steve

Q: What do you think of HOM.UN? how does it compare to interrent, minto and nvu, in terms of POR, debt ratio and projected growth?
Q: How does Tricon have negative FFO? A big one time event?
Q: Hello! For a 60 yr old dividend investor, would you pick crt.un or ctc? Also, why is ctc so thinly traded? Thx!
Q: Greetings 5i,
Looking for global Reit exposure. Thoughts on REET:US would be appreciated as I am attracted to the higher yield. Any other suggestions or perhaps a CDN denominated global reit you also feel comfortable suggesting.
Cheers!

Q: Good Day Team,
Presently I have no REITSs in my portfolio, so hoping to add some.
What is the best step to take?
Put equal amounts in all 6 stocks listed or put in priority order with certain percentage in each. I have $5000. to invest in REITs.
Secondly, what order would you put them in, from best to the lowest.
Lastly, is there any REIT that you would change or add that may be better.
Please use extra credits as needed.
Thank You,
John G.

Q: I saw Samir Manji from Sandpiper Group on with A. McCreath on BNN on Fri. He made an interesting case for HBC but that is not what I want to ask about. I noticed his Co. also took a position in EXE. It looks like the stock made a comeback off of that purchase. Given how he finds hidden value in these companies I was wondering if you could speculate about what he sees in EXE and how much more value there is. I am attracted undervalued divvy plays by predilection.
Q: I have held XRE for over 10 yr. in RRSP - so, with dividends I am up over 400%. I was thinking of selling this ETF and buying BPY.UN because the latter regularly increases dividends and is a broader based property/real estate holding company. I did not think it prudent to own both: either would be a very small holding in the portfolio.
Q: I am planning to hold both of these securities, but would like to put one in a cash account and one in a registered account. I would like to know which, based on recent history, provides the highest ROC. I would place that in my cash account. thanks for all the great info you, all your crew and fellow members offer. Thanks, Bill
Q: Updated price/ffo on Minto, tricon and interrent.
Q: Please tell me the name institutional breakdown.
Q: Hello what company would you invest in, minto or tricon?
Q: I am wondering is it better to buy a REIT such as in CAR.UN in a registered or non-registered account. In a registered account one does not get the benefit of return of capital.

Q: To maintain monthly or quarterly income during this period of uncertainty, I am planning to invest in more stable entities - namely Real Estate in Canada. My thoughts are for Apartment Rental Housing and Seniors Housing. Would appreciate your choices for the most stable as well as yield. Thank you.
Q: Your thoughts on MPW please
Thanks
