Q: Please explain the drop in TOL stock price when all the metrics look are looking good (as far as I can tell).

Does profit taking explain a 5% drop? What would be the logic in selling the stock of a company that has tailwind ?

Finally, if systematic, would a good contrarian strategy to buy those dips?

Thank you very much, especially for your patience with member's layman questions.

Q: In regard's MRVL's last question on Sept 27 you noted a sales decline. I understand they reported on December 4 and seem to have done well. Is sales growth still negative year over year and is it's forward PE ratio still with-in reason? I suppose they are a competitor of NVDA which may be a risk more than an asset even if its chips are cheaper than NVDA's. Have they invented a better chip or is there anything about them which is better than NVDA other than price? Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.

Q: Could you please comment on NA's earnings report? What does the market not like about it?

It's disappointing that Scotia Bank has for the second year now not raised its dividend.
Comparing stock charts of BNS to NA over any period, be it 5, 10 or 20 years, NA has consistently outperformed by a long shot. Would you find a switch from BNS to NA problematic (other than the "bigger, safer.....")?
