Q: What is your take on the OPEC+ output cut over the weekend...will this immediate positive reaction in company stock prices be sustainable...or better to fade this rally? If the cut is a new path higher for oil stocks, which do you prefer (Cdn or US)

Q: Early in the winter I bought some Keyera, but only got about half of what I had bid for. The price started to climb, so I just let the remainder of the bid expire. The price is now back down near my initial purchase, and I am debating whether to purchase the other half (I hold a 1% position, this would make it 2%). Could you comment on:
1) current guidance from management
2) debt levels, and how this compares to others in the industry
3) dividend payout percentage
4) do you consider it a "buy", and if so, buy now or wait a bit
Thank-you, Grant

Q: Oil and nat gas seem to be subjects of market manipulation. Especially in light of OPEC’s sudden announcement. Can you suggest a couple of non levered etf’s that track nat gas. Greatly appreciated.
Q: Peter; Andrew McGreath is back on BNN and he did an interview with Mike Rose , that is avail on their site. Very informative and interesting. Nizar might want to see it.

Q: hi, can I get your latest thoughts/analysis of PHX:CA. and what is the company/industry specific near-medium term future look like?
also, could I get your top pure (relatively) play in gas energy stocks, with decent dividend yield, as well as your thoughts on where you think the price of the gas commodity is going in near-medium term. cheers, chris

Q: Can you provide thoughts on recent results. How do you value the future hedges and impact on debt levels over time. How do you like its upside torque with >$80 barrel pricing and future potential?
Q: hi, in regards AQN Kentucky power transaction- the end of March is the end of comment period, with presumably a decision on whether or not this transaction will go through shortly after? do you have any sense as to this purchase going ahead, or not going ahead ( and AQN paying a penalty ). further, what do you think the potential upside could be with an announcement of the merger NOT going forward; and conversely what do you think the downside in AQN price could be if the merger does go ahead? cheers, chris
Q: If a series of events were to occur that would cause the long end of the yield curve to spike to 10%, how does this affect highly indebted companies such as ENB, TRP and BEP.UN ? What measures can they take to avoid bankruptcy in that scenario, and what would be your level of confidence that they could ?
As a 2nd part to this question, what are your top 5 Canadian dividend-paying stocks that would have balance sheets that one would not necessarily need to be concerned about ? i.e. durability under the above situation.

Q: Good morning,
I currently hold FRU in my TFSA account and it is down approx 30%.
Q1. What is your outlook at this time of FRU and would this be a good entry point to purchase some additional shares?
I wish to purchase an energy stock for my TFSA and GXE is one under consideration given the relative safety of its high dividend and growth prospect should the price of oil go higher.
Q2. What are your thoughts and outlook of GXE at this time and do you have a better recommendation for a new position in my TFSA?
Thank you and I'll await your sage advice.

Q: So, in comes the new Liberal budget. Lots of spending and increased deficits. Also, a huge emphasis on renewables. Where does this leave the oil and gas industry in Canada? Is this budget going to damage the industry or does the money it brings in to the federal government make it an essential contributor to the funds needed to pay for all the new spending outlined by the government. What will happen to Canadian energy companies as a result of this budget?
Q: On Feb 16th when comparing PPL to ENB you commented that the consensus was that PPL would see a significant drop in earnings this year. Why would earnings be reduced? Higher interest rates, or are there other issues??
Q: I am holding SDE (thanks for that one) and from what I can gather you recommend to continue to hold as a bet on management. Can you please provide what the key metrics will be after the sale. What are the assets, production, cash flow, P/E ect. and how much value do you put on the Logan warrants?
Q: hi, AQN is ex-dividend today. does this mean I can sell today ( assuming all dividend hunters have not driven the price down by selling today too) and get the next dividend April 14, 2023? cheers, Chris
Q: I have held TRP for a long time recommended by all analysts who cover it. I do understand that pipelines are rarely to be added in the future and TRP is a huge owner operator in N.A. They also manage to increase dividend (now @7%) every year. It's payout is in excess of 500%. Can you explain how TRP is so overrated with such a poor payout ratio?
Q: What is your opinion on Sandridge. Does it seems like a good value and safety play.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: Why has ENB dropped in the last 1 year from about $58 to $49.96?
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: Thinking of selling this one..what could be decent replacement ? Many thanks!
Q: Hello 5I; could you estimate what the cost would be to ENB stock price if their Line 5 pipeline does not get approved by the US government?
Thank you and regards, Ron Lepofsky

Thanks,
