Q: Good Morning;

I own 500 shares of TOU. Because I bought them a couple years ago and trimmed as they rose, my dollar cost average on these shares is zero!! This position accounts for 24.5% of my portfolio, but is such a great holding that I am reluctant to sell any of it!!

I know it is a bad idea to become married to a holding, but with the dividend and special dividends this holding is providing, I am reaping approx 10% return this year!! How do I replace that kind of a return, and what would your advice be? Would you consider CWB as a good option for a new position (I own 225 shares of BNS as my only other bank holding.

Q: Hi, How significant is Tourmaline's 15 years long term Export Marketing contract with Cheniere Energy, announced last year, to supply 140,000 mmBtu of natural gas, per day through TC Energy pipeline, commencing January, 2023. It appears that TOU will benefit from international pricing for this business. Does the company also indirectly benefit from the tight and lucrative LNG market, where Cheniere, perhaps has a dominant position ? Thank You

Q: Retired, dividend-income investor. I own AQN and TRP for the very long term. I started buying AQN at $5.60 way back and I have trimmed for asset allocation targets on the way up.

I have cash available to add to both of these positions. When I look at the technicals, it looks to my amateur eyes that $49 and $56 respectively look to be good re-entry positions. Would you agree that adding is appropriate and at what levels would you add? Thanks...Steve

Q: I'm wondering about all sanctioned projects TRP has on the books ($30 billion worth I think).

Given the second round of cost overruns on the construction of the Coastal Link Pipeline, I expect actual costs to exceed the estimates used to FID these projects, probably also by significant amounts. Do you have any info on if each project will be re-assessed with a higher cost estimates to determine if they still meet their return on investment hurdle?

Q: Hi, What is your assessment of Suncor after today's highly anticipated investor's day and stock selling off apparently triggered by company's decision to retain Petro Canada gas station, which has 18% market share of Canadian fuel distribution business. One of the reasons, company assigned was the safety net/cushion this business provides during the times of company facing headwinds of lower demand for oil. Looks like, market was expecting a decision otherwise. which would have helped rerating of shares and narrow the discount, stock trades at, relative to its peers. How would company fund its purchase of Fort Hill Oil sands, from Tech Resources, due to close in 2023 ? How does this all play with activist investor and overall impact on stock price ? Thank You
