Q: Could you list any possible positive events that could prove good for Aqn. If possible, the chances they might materialize in 2024.
I like the current dividend and payout ratio is fine but I am feeling stuck.

Q: I am trying to track down a pipeline company someone recently mentioned, along with enbridge and others. It trades at less then $1, and has dropped in price considerably in one year (maybe 42%). I think the ticker starts with T, and has a sister company that deals with diesel fuel. If you know of it, do you have an investment opinion of it?
Sorry for so little info to work with.

Q: I came across an article on this small energy company. Can I have your opinion on it. Thanks
Q: Which of the Canadian Junior oil companies will be the biggest beneficiaries of the new Trans mountain pipeline and will TVE make your list?
-
NextEra Energy Inc. (NEE $83.13)
-
DBA Sempra (SRE $90.66)
-
Enbridge Inc. (ENB $66.58)
-
Pembina Pipeline Corporation (PPL $54.71)
Q: I currently hold Enbridge in a taxable account and I am thinking of selling it and purchasing a stock in the same sector that has more growth and likely a smaller yield. While I prefer Canadian companies US listed stocks would be considered if they are more attractive.

Q: I own shares of Enerplus (ERF), which is being bought by Chord (CHRD). My questions are: (a) do I need to do something active (i.e., tender the shares) and if so, by what date? (b) since I will receive some CHRD shares as well as cash, does it make sense to have my ERF shares reside in the U.S. side of my brokerage account (while waiting for this transaction to close)?

Q: I read that ATRL owns a nuclear energy plant. I also read that many climate change groups have now accepted that nuclear energy is the future. Atkins-Realis stock price has gained almost 25% in the past 2 months. What is fueling the stock price change? How much value to you put on its nuclear plant with respect to its recent and potential future gain?
Thank you very much

Q: I'd like your opinion on these two stocks in the renewables sector. Which one or both do you think is a preferred for a 5 year hold? Is there another company that may be positioned better for this sector? Thank you.
Q: AQN has fallen from grace for quite some time now.
The %Dividend Yield appears to be approx. 7.3%.
Do you see any potential catalysts/positives for this company?
Is there debt any better and can their cash flows support the high
dividend? Many thanks!

Fortis Inc. (FTS $70.68)
-
Emera Incorporated (EMA $65.66)
-
Capital Power Corporation (CPX $62.35)
-
Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. (BIP.UN $49.22)
Q: Thank you for your ranking of Canadian utilities last week-our investment club had a lengthy discussion yesterday afternoon over the rankings. I found it difficult to defend BIP.UN as first pick with 6:1 debt, meagre/erratic EPS, and growing share dilution vs CPX having similar posted growth rates, 1.5:1 debt, decent EPS and slower share dilution. Any assistance and clarification on this greatly appreciated. Thank you
Q: Does CNQ or IMO benefit from the increased capacity of the Trans Mt Pipeline ? If yes or no pls elaborate why for each. Are there any other beneficairies coming to light now that the start is near ? Thank you.
Q: I assume if liked this at 45-46 you would love it at 40-41. What are the biggest risks? The largest shareholder dumping 34 million shares?
-
Fortis Inc. (FTS $70.68)
-
Hydro One Limited (H $53.05)
-
Brookfield Renewable Corporation Class A Exchangeable Subordinate Voting Shares (BEPC $54.93)
Q: Of these three utilities, BEPC’s share price has suffered significantly more than the other two over the past year. Is there a specific reason why?
