Q: Hi Peter;
I wonder if you would be able to explain to me the royalty structure of FRU and how it works. Does FRU actually own the underlying land or do they lease it from others? What are your thoughts on this type of entity?
Many thanks.

Q: COS reported its quarterly results on October 29. The market reacted positively, as the share price went up 5% as of today. Do you see anything meaningful in terms of making the company either
more or less attractive ? Any obvious comparison to be derived from SU's results which were just reported ?

Q: I own CPg and enjoy the dividend but where does the continuing issuance of stock to buy more assets end?
How many times can they go to the well and maintain the dividend with no real stock appreciation? Soon they will be selling stock at $35. , then $30.00, and so on - down , down down? Thanks.

Q: Hi Peter: I'd like your opinion about Yangarra Resources (YGR). From their 2012 2nd quarter reports, their net income has gone from a 1st quarter loss of almost a million$ to a 2nd Quarter gain of over 6 million$ (before tax), but their shares keep slip-slidin' away. Thanks for any input.

Q: Mart Resources has stated that the pipeline deal is done and just waiting for signatures. The umu 10 well is being tested and results could be in the next 4-6 weeks I would guess. Would you think these events will have a substantial impact on the share price or not since it is a year before we will be able to get the increased flow rates? Is the good news already baked in ? Can you explain how the lost oil is really being stolen. Partners, Nigerian government? Thanks very much.
Q: Peter, would you please give me your updated thoughts on Parrallel. The price of 4.12 is rediculous for the yield it is paying. Is the payout ratio really out of line? Looks to me like if they cut the div. by 25% it is still a great buy.Where would the .08 cent div. have to go to to be sustainable? Thanks Ken
Q: Your comment on Raging River Exploration (RRX) THANKS
Q: So it's official now. PBG will distribute its shares in PBN. Now that PBG is trading up 10% would you hold out for more or sell?
Q: Peter; Could you comment on Baytex at these levels? Seems ok for yield and management but is the payout % in line? Thanks.

Q: Hi Peter: I would like your thoughts on petrobank. (PTB) It has certainly tanked over the last year. Is this a hold or sell?
Q: Peter>
Can you kindly provide your accessment of Mart Resources(MMT-V) .
They appear to have several catalysts moving forward as well as paying a dividend currently yielding close to 11%

Q: Looking at ERF for grandson's RESP. It has >6% yield and a PEG < 1. What do you think for a long term hold?
Q: What makes a stock have value?
I've only been investing for about 4 years.
Is a stock valuable because that's the price we believe someone would buy the entire company for? How does one get value unless they can sell to someone else, or receive a dividend?
If the ability to sell or purchase is blocked, is the company worth anything? (ie Petronas/Progress)
Does the blocking of Petronas/Progress put a positive pressure on dividend paying companies?
The refusal of Petronas/Progress seems huge to me.
