Q: Twin Butte Energy [TBE]. I read where TD has reduced TBE to a "HOLD", whatever that means, and reduced its target price from $3.25 to $2.25 which is a significant drop at one shot. Could I have your comments on this firm?
Thanks,
Ron

Q: Twin Butte has taken quite the hit today. As of writing, it's down 17%. Is this sell-off justified and is TBE worth a look at these levels? Thank you and kind regards.
Q: Hi There
For an addition to the oil and gas section of my diversified, income with some growth, retirement portfolio would you prefer WCP over SGY or vice versa or perhaps neither? I already hold FRU, ALA, CPG and VET.
Thanks as always.

Q: Hello, could you please give your thoughts on PAREX RESOURCES please.
Q: Hi Peter, Would you consider MEI (Manitok Energy) a buy at the current level? Thanks, Ilesh
Q: Any reason why there is such a large difference between Imperial Oil (IMO) and Canadian Natural Resources (CNQ) when it comes to the P/E ? Are they not similar companies, in the same field, and both classical names ?
Q: Baytex has had a nice run here, do you think it's still a good buy? Differentials on heavy oil have narrowed significantly, do you think this is "permanent" or will they blow out again and take down the heavy oil companies.
Thanks,
Thanks,
Q: Peter; Based on the buy more as a stock rises, and today's quite bullish announcement, would you add to SOG? Thanks.Rod
Q: cnq - CNQ has the second largest gas reserves, next to EnCana. No one seems to give much value to that. Do you think we have reached a bottom in the natural gas price, such that this will provide some torque to CNQ?
Q: TDG
Hi Peter,
Would you mind providing your thoughts on TDG?
Regards,
Philip

Q: Good morning Peter & team,
I have been considering adding more energy stocks to my dividend-oriented portfolio, namely Arc Resources and Vermilion Energy. I am a bit perplexed on the valuations of these companies. Both pay a decent dividend in the 4.35% to 4.55% range. What confuses me is that the payout ratios for each are well over 100% (though the dividends are covered by cash flow), and the P/E ratios are sky-high. Am I looking at the wrong metrics here? Is there another, more appropriate way to evaluate these companies? My initial thought is that despite the energy sector's struggles, these are very expensive stocks. Your comments would be appreciated. Thanks!

Q: What happened to cos?
Q: Is COS a buy?
Q: Could I have your assessment of Spyglass Resources [SGL]? Their monthly dividend was lowered but it states the amount will be set each month based on a number of factors. I've held this stock, via ownership of predecessor companies, for a number of years. As long as they pay dividends I'm happy to sit and collect even though I am at a 'paper' loss position now.
Thanks,
Ron
