Q: Happy New Year to all.
I am down about 25% on Forent Energy. I bot in for
a speculative play, but it hasn't provided much excitement.
Can you provide any insight into management and their plans?

Q: I have been a member from the early days of your service. I have benefitted from your advice and from investing in some of your picks. It has only been recently that I have taken the time to do more in-depth study of many of your best ideas and am making some adjustments to my portfolios as a result. I have learned a lot from you answers to members questions and have been a amazed at your patience with so many Q's! This is my first! I think 24 a year is more than enough! I feel that some do abuse your service rather than taking time to do their own research. My Q is regarding CEU. It looks good to me in terms of past performance and future prospects. What do you think?
I am most positive about 2014, not only because of market and economic trends but because of your wonderful advice.
Happy New Year! Alan

Q: Hi 5i
Do you think that PHX Energy Services would be a relatively safe energy play given that we would be looking for a 10 - 15% return on our investment.

Q: Best wishes for a most successful year, 2014, may it bring to all the team at Si continued good health, sound investment insights, and successful investments for all your subscribers. Would appreciate learning your thoughts on Cardinal Energy Ltd, CJ-T, which came to the market in mid December, as to whether or not is a potentially good O/G E/P investment for the next 2-3 years in my portfolio. Many thanks, Jim

Q: Hi,

I'm interested in your opinion on Niko (NKO) in light of the new loan deal, and the conversion notices that seem to have had an effect on the market's perception of the viability of this company. My understanding is that their revenue should increase greatly in April under a new gas pricing agreement. I hold a small position in NKO that is down from a $10 entry point. would you recommend holding on or averaging down at this time? Thanks for your great service!

Q: Peter and Team,

I'd like to wish you all a happy new year, first off. Second, I have owned Tourmaline for a while and had been writing covered calls on the name. I went a number of months without getting called away but finally did in December. It was almost a 5% weighting for me. I also currently own PPY (currently 3.0% of the portfolio) and PEY (Currently 3.7% of the portfolio) in the Natural Gas Sector.

My question is, with the proceeds from TOU should I be trying to get back into TOU? Are there better or other names that I should look at in the sector? Should I put the cash made into one of the names I already have?

Thanks for your thoughts!
