Q: Storm Resources seems to be resisting the current pullback in share price that many energy companies have suffered. Apparently the market likes the fundamentals of the company but do you think this strength will continue once the next quarter results roll in, given a continued weak commodity price environment?
Q: I bought FRU with an eye on income. With the current excitement in the market, the drop in FRU share price and the recent precipitous decline in oil prices, should I be worried about the 14 cent payout or is this just a 'hang on' time?
I currently own equal weightings in both TDG and WRG. WRG has held up far better than my TDG holding. What do you think about consolidating under just one name? Which one would you suggest better to hold for my exposure in this sector. Alternatively, is PD a better play than either of them?
Thank you
Q: Hi Peter
I belong to an investment club and I was shocked to hear that it could be time to sell this stock . I was told that between the glut in oil and US energy efficiency , it might have had its day . What do you think ? I hold it in my RRSP . Can you recommend a better replacement ?
Could you provide an update on ESN relative to the safety of its dividend over the next couple of years and if you think the current price range is a floor. Thank you for your reply.
Q: Barrons magazine predicts that the price of oil will fall to $75.00 or below based on the strong dollar and excess supply. Most experts believe that $85.00 is the floor. Your opinion would be appreciated. Thank you.
Your thoughts on Spartan Energy please? I recently purchased shares at 3.90. Would you recommend holding? Do you think the correction in Energy is over?
Q: Could I please have your thoughts on Long Run. It's dropped much more than my other oil & gas stocks since the energy sell-off began, and the yield has now climbed to 10%. Is it still worth holding? I'm a long-term investor with a dividend focus, and also hold BTE, CPG, SGY, VET and WCP. Thanks in advance for your advice.
Q: Hi team, just wondering what you think of offshore drilling companys currently. They have been absolutely battered. How would you compare the big offshore drillers compared to some of the drillers working in western canada. On top of that, should I be very concerned about currency risk? Thanks in advance

Q: Hi 5i team,
I am wondering whether to cut losses on BDI, it seems in a freefall for the past 6 months. The stock is down over 30% from its high point in May and continues its decline today despite overall market direction. Yesterday, I received notification from BMO that 5 brokerages either downgraded or cut prices on BDI... I know you were positive on BDI in the past, what are your current thoughts on this stock. Are fundamentals still solid? Do you anticipate it to recover from current lows within one year timeframe? Thanks.
I have energy positions in SGY, DEE, RE and TNP all of which have suffered a lot in the recent correction. Do you see a higher risk in holding any of these. Also, DEE is in natural gas why is not holding up with gas prices not dropping compared to oil prices?
Q: I hold approximately 900 shares of both CNQ and Suncor and have a profit on both. As you know both have been dropping significantly in the last several weeks. Given the low global oil prices would you recommend that I sell my positions or add on this weakness.
Q: What is your take on Aet.un since they announced they are looking at ways to increase shareholder value, including the possible sale of entire company.
