Q: I have read your previous favourable comments on Delphi (Dee). In view of their latest results do you see this as a good long term hold or do you prefer others?

Q: What do you think of the latest quarterly reports for Painted Pony Petroleum (PPY-T)? A couple of analysts on BNN haven't been that enthused with PPY in general, one even indicating it should be a sell. I currently hold a 2.25% position and am wondering whether to keep holding in anticipation of it being sold! Thanks!
Q: Hi Peter and Team, Connacher, CLL, just released their results. May I please have your thoughts and opinions on these results and whether CLL has a decent future ahead of it, or not! Thanks!

Q: I have been watching TAO.TO (Tag oil), it has declined from 10.00 to 3.00, yet headlines identify that they have found lots of oil and gas in NZ. What are your recommendations, considering this low price?
Q: Hello Peter and Staff
I own shares in Transglobe. I understand Carasal has acquired Transglobe, the price being $9.32/share (info taken from Carasal site. What are the mechanics of this i.e. is there any action I should take, ?just wait, and is that indeed the figure I will receive per share. How are Transglobe shareholders to be treated, I guess is what I am asking. Thanks very much for all the information you provide us.

Q: As I evaluate my portfolio i have a couple of stocks that I am uncertain about and would like your opinion. I will start with Talisman that I bought on margin nearly six months ago and currently down approx 20%. The objective was a short term speculation with the expectation management would be able to do a significant turnaround. At this juncture, should I change my strategy and dig in for the ride or cut my losses and move on?

Hi Peter and Team
I am a long term holder (from the Avenex meltdown) Do you think there is a chance management can work through the problems over a year or two OR is it time to move on?
Thanks Jim

Q: Hi Peter:
I bought some ATH on her way down
Now that the 1st Nation has withdrawn their objections and the
Alberta govt has approved the infusion of capital from Chinese company, would you see a better future and perhaps in the near future, possibility of a dividend?
The shares actually have done down abit, wonder if people are
taking profits ? Thanks

Q: I note that TD Securities cut the target price for PRE to $21.00 after Q4 2013 results. What are your thoughts on 2013 results and the company's prospects going forward? Thank you!
Q: symbol: PXT - Peter, what did you think of Parex's Q4 release? I thought the quarter was very good. It looks like they meet or exceeded street estimates and will have to raise their production guidance for 2014. They also have a few catalysts on the immediate horizon. Why did the shares pull back today and is there still upside in this name?
Q: Update....Peter....I recently e-mailed questions about energy in my holds. As backgrounder, I recently cut 5%, selling Paramount and Crescent Point. To reduce the exposure to this section, I'm inclined to sell CVE, a large market company as the smaller ones are expect to provide more likelihood of "pop" but from there, I'm having difficulties to get the mix "right" with oil and gas, and then add service providers.....Tom
Q: Peter and Staff:
What are your current thoughts on the Canadian energy sector as a whole? Gas vs. conventional oils vs oil sands oil?
In the gas sector PPY vs DEE (or other suggestions)
Oil (conventional and oil sands) SU vs CPG vs CVE
Thanks
Phil

Q: Since the end of last month WCP is down 4% while TOG is up 9%. TOG presented at an energy conference in N.Y. last Tues but it does not explain the drop in WCP's price. Any ideas?
I own shares in both companies

Q: My energy holdings are VET, FRU, and WCP. Given all the recent discussion about Surge Energy I am wondering if I should consider replacing WCP with SGY?
Q: I am under water with an investment in CET (Cathedral Energy Services). What is your opinion of this company?
