Q: Hi guys, Why should someone «who has done okay with CPG» sell and wait for something interesting.
From what I hear the dividend(6%) is safe and with a 3%-4% annual growth I think it is still a good investment.
It's not sure that something more interesting will surely come along. A bird in the hand......
Your thoughts.
Thanks
Q: Hello...I bought panterra... prc - v and am up about 40% and they just did a rights offering where you get l right per common share owned and can reclaim 8 rights for one common share at 0.075 per share...having never participated in a rights offering before I am stymied by this offer as it appears too low and only gives the company 300,000 dollars or so...I would like to hear your take on this offering....thanks
Q: Hi:
What do you think of the news that PPY is selling all assets in Sask? I own 300 shares. Should I sell or wait to see what the future holds for PPY? Love my membership in 5i. This has been a real learning experience. Many thanks.
Q: Hi: hope your recovery is moving forward, what is your short and long term opinion on Raise Production RPC-X? It has moved a lot over the last 52 weeks, is the technology innovative or are there other competitors who can do the same thing?
Q: I've done okay with cpg. Where do you think it will go from here as I'm thinking of selling and holding the cash until something else interesting comes up. I already have cnq, wcp, nva, bxe and sgy.

Q: CWC :
Could you please update your view on the above . especially with regards to the integration of Ironhead. Is it a lager in the section having a good chance of playing catch up. and how do you evaluate management.
I have only a little of the energy services and am thinking of buying it.
Thanks
I feel good being part of this - thanks again
Q: I originally bought PPY under $2, so am obviously pleased that it closed at an all-time high of $14.17 yesterday. But it has been a volatile ride! Since they are surrounded by PETRONAS, and do drill some wells with them, do you think it is inevitable that PPY gets bought out by PETRONAS? Underpinning PPY's share price is their huge reserves and pristine balance sheet. I should take some profits, but the story is the best in the natural gas space right now, IMO. Thoughts?
Q: What are your thoughts on Twin Butte's (TBE) announcement of a private placement? Tossing another 1.8 million shares in the mix is somewhat dilutive, yet the stock got a little bounce on the news.
Thanks.
In your view. Do you feel that SU would be trading higher if all the cash used for buyback was returned to shareholders with dividend increase instead?
Q: HI PETER AND STAFF:
I AM HOLDING SOUTHERN PACIFIC RES. CORP-STP-AND PRESENTLY SHOWING A LARGE LOSS. IS IT WORTHWHILE KEEPING THIS COMPANY OR SHOULD I TAKE MY LOSSES AND SELL?
ALSO, DO YOU KNOW THE CANADIAN COMPANY THAT MAKES THE CHIPS FOR CREDIT CARDS AND/OR THE CREDIT CARD READERS? THE USA IS NOW INTRODUCING CREDIT CARDS WITH CHIPS. PRESUMABLY THERE WILL BE
A LARGE DEMAND AND SUBJECT COMPANY MAY BE DOING WILL.
THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY.

Q: I would like to add a smaller energy company to my portfolio mix, aiming for a bit more growth potential and I have narrowed my search to Cequence Energy (CQE) and/or Delhi Energy (DEE). Would either of these two warrant a 5% position in my growth portfolio and why? Alternatively, with companies such as these, is it better to do 2.5% in each? I am pretty fully diversified across 6 sectors, with fairly equal weighting, and wanted to start adding some "torque" to the mix. Thanks, as always, for your exemplary service!
PS I hope Peter's surgery went well, and that soon he will be able to "ride like the wind" on his cross-country trek.
Q: Can you comment on TAO.to and it's release on production and revenue increase? You have commented on it in the past and wanted to see better numbers. Did the numbers improve enough for you to consider it as less risky? Thank you.
Q: Exploreco is the offspring resulting from the proposed takeout of Crocotta. What valuation does the market place on exploreco and do you folks think this is a reasonable valuation? Thanks for your analysis.
Q: Hello Peter - We are considering buying either Tourmaline (TOU) or Paramount Resources (POU), or maybe half of each? Which do you prefer? or can you recommend something else.
Thanks for your advice.
