Q: I have held this in various accounts for over a decade and it just keeps paying out its dividend through the ups and downs. As I get closer to retirement age I would like to buy more as it is has of the best percentage dividends. The price is down right now. Do you feel this is just along with the rest of oil and gas in the market, or is there any other reason to have concern. Thanks.

Q: Do you have faith in the oil market's recovery? And if so would you put new money into BXE and SGY at these seemingly extreme low levels? Thanks, Curt

Q: Would you recommend holding or selling HNL if recently acquired? Could it be that the market is beating up the stock more than what is warranted and it should regain price to $3 and then a bit more?
In other words, is C+ a hold?

Q: With the recent slight increase in natural gas and seasonality for it, would now be a good entry point for natural gas stocks. If so, I am looking at Pine Cliff or Delphi but if these would not be your choice, I would appreciate your top two gas stocks. Thanks

Q: Morning,

You have viewed HCLP favourably. What do you think about this stock in the light of its earnings today as well as within the weakening backdrop of oil prices. Do you think it is a good long term hold.

Thanks

Q: Hi Team,
What are your thoughts on these two? With the resource sector sell-off I am down around 30% plus on both. After tax loss selling which they are now both subject to in my portfolio and I am sure many others). Would you own these (buy them back) after the 30 day period or just avoid them altogether?
Thank you

Q: Lts closed today at 0.28 to book value and 0.82 to cash flow.Is there something fatally wrong with lts (other than management)? Is shortselling causing the share price to be so low?Although a dividend cut is likely,at today's price close even a 50% cut would still mean a dividend of about 8.5%.

Q: Hi Peter,
I bought LRE at 5.73$ and it has fallen (crashed!) to 3.02$. Should I just sell and buy something else in the same sector (SGY,WCP) or look into a totally different sector.
Thank you for your help.

Q: Hello Peter and Staff,
I own a diversified portfolio inspired by your own and I have done OK thank you. My question is regarding my energy portion.
CWC,KEL,PEY,PD,RRX,WCP represent now about 7% of my portfolio after the recent pull back.
Should I hold, average down or sell for better opportunities ?
Thank you for your excellent service.
Regards, Raouf

Q: Hello Peter & Co.
My RRIF portfolio contains most of your equity holdings and many of Jason Donville's top 10; I thank you for your contribution.
My problem is that energy producers make up 10% of my portfolio; I should reduce it to 5%.
I hold BTE, CPG, TOU, VET and WCP; how would you rank them?
Thanks again
Tony

Q: Hi 5i team, On Oct 31 2014 re: LRE, you answered to Terrance:"BOTH names have some debt and lower balance sheet liquidity and in this environment, financing could become tougher to find so we would not classify the dividends as safe but would not expect a dividend cut in the near term."
Which other company are you referring to apart from LRE? Also, LRE is reporting earnings Nov 5...do you expect more downside on the stock? If so, would it be better to sell before earnings?
Thank you!

Q: Morning folks: HWO is listed in Toronto but does the bulk of it's business in New Guinea where the energy industry is still
going strong. The numbers look good and it has a 4.5 percent yield. Appreciate your comments on this company.
