Q: Would you be inclined to buy any or all of these three at these levels? If not could you recommend 3 or 4 quality stocks that are seriously oversold in your opinion Thanx Robbie

Q: Could you please give me your opinion on Elkwater, the strength of its balance sheet and its ability to grow production profitably with low energy prices. Do you have knowledge of where their properties are located and what price of oil would be necessary to keep the production going.
My current sector allocation is 9%. Do you think it is a good one to take a flyer on? The share price has gone down quite a bit and don't they have cash more than the company's current valuation? I would very much appreciate your thoughts.

Q: Holy crow, MCR is going lower than I ever thought it would... so far,$1.65 today with no bottom in sight. I certainly feel foolish purchasing it at $6.30 last year. Have I missed some news? Is it time to get whatever nickels I can get from it now?

Q: Hello Peter. I need your help. I have relatively small positions in the following oil stocks (all of which are down): BDI, WCP, BNK, QST and MCR.

I can hold on for the longer term but I need to know if any of these companies are not likely to survive this downward cycle. Are the balance sheets strong enough? I suspect QST is fine given it has no debt. You mentioned in responses to other questions that BDI also has a relatively good balance sheet and I note that insiders have been buying at BDI (based on Canadian Insider search). If you were going to add to any of the above names, which would you choose?

As always, thank you very much!

Q: Hi Peter and gang. Do you think TEI will have to cut its dividend now? I was just looking through a management presentation on their website and they say they get 50% of revenue from nat gas and 50% from oil. How offside is their dividend and what size of cut would you ballpark if so? Thanks!

Q: I've been adding a bit to CLO, WCP, and CNQ as the price of Oil has tumbled. CLO,WCP,MX,RRX,ENF,CNQ represent about 15% of my portfolio. Do you think its worth adding more at this stage of just holding on?

Q: Hi 5i team,

A few weeks ago I dumped a whole bunch of COS shares at the open of market. I've never really understood "who or "what" is buying these shares that I'm selling. In Particular, it seems no one in his or her right mind would be an active buyer of oil stocks, yet someone is on the other end of my trade accepting the garbage that I am throwing out. Who is it? Is it ETF's that are required to purchased stocks to keep their balance of holdings equal? Or something like this? Thanks!

Q: Good Morning
I have a very small Oil & Gas holding and would like to gradually raise my holdings to approx. 10%. I am looking at using XEG & ZEO in equal weights. Would you recommend this strategy or do you have an alternative?

Thanks to the hard working Team

Q: Good Morning 5i

In this current market, can you give me three oil or gas names that are now attractive to pick up. I want stocks that would rise over a three year period based on premise that current cuts are short-lived or that the companies will do well by acquisition in a downturned market.

I'm looking for a three year hold.

Thanks for all you do!
