Q: what percentage would you be comfortable today investing in the energy sector? If I own SU, RRX AND PKI and it is about 13% of total portfolio is this too much?
Thanks

Q: Which of the drillers may have the biggest pop? Do you have a preference.
Q: Please explain why ENB uses the "drop down" of assets to ENF? As a heavily indebted company (ENB), does this tactic make it easier to access capital in the future by selling a portion of the shares it owns in ENF than issue more debt?

ConocoPhillips (COP $93.69)
-
Chevron Corporation (CVX $150.00)
-
Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNQ $47.96)
Q: I am selling my Conoco Phillips for tax loss reasons and looking at what to replace it with. What are your favourite big oil stocks? All the fundamentals look pretty bad to me but comparing charts over the last decade I find Chevron and CNRL seem to be stand out performers. I would prefer to have a good dividend which is fairly safe since I am semi retired.
Q: I have owned this fund SPR006 for 10 years of ups and downs. Is currently just above water and would like your opinion in the current environment, Hold ? Sell ? replace with what ? possibly at lower carrying costs. Appreciate your advice.

Q: Great service Looking to get back into the oil services sector. What would be your top 3 suggestions? And why. Thanks
Q: Good morning Peter and Team,
If you were purchasing today, what stocks and/or ETFs would you buy for each of the TSX eleven sectors? (Consumer Discretionary, Consumer Staples, Energy, Financials, Healthcare, Industrials, Information Technology, Materials, Real Estate, Telecom, and Utilities). Please give at least two choices for each sector.
My daughter-in-law has finally sold her high-MER, low-performing mutual funds, and I have set up a self-directed account for her LIRA, her RRSP, and her TFSA. She is 48 and will probably work till at least 65.
Please feel free to deduct as many question credits as you deem necessary. Thanks in advance for all your valued assistance.

Q: Dear 5i Staff,
I would like to participate in the energy price recovery and the expected new US Administration favorable bias toward energy companies.
My question is it better to invest in Canadian or US energy companies now
Which of these stock you favor: Duke, Exxon, Chevron or maybe an ETF is better. Any other suggestion.
Thank you and best wishes for the season.
Raouf
Is my strategy makes sense.

Q: Hi team,
following the company,s issue of close to a million shares due to the exercise of options, OPEC and non-OPEC members to cut oil production, would you recommend purchase of Ithaca,s shares as a good entry price or are the shares overvalued at the moment. With Stella scheduled to be operational would this add to the further rise in share prices?
Many thanks and a Merry Xmas season to all.
