Q: I heard on BNN, where Americans aren't buying Canadian Oil & Gas stocks. Viper put out a statement where there production is up 23% over first quarter & 95% yoy. Average price $73.64 down 10% Quarter one, but because of increased production, their cash flow is up & increased dividend 10%. Stock price has basically traded sideways over this years spanned & didn't have any momentum on the announcement. Undoubtedly I am missing something again. Appreciate your comment on Viper. Thanks

Q: i own both yangarra and surge, they both announced results in the last days and they were excellent on every metric, they are making tons of money even with oil between 42-48, and yet the stocks do squat.why, is this just sentiment towards oil, does the market feel oil is going to 30-35, do investors fear electric cars, i just do not get it. dave

In your collective opinion what would push Vet down and not WCP
I owned vet for some time and feel it is solid due to its international exposure but I think I am wrong .
I am down 10% and wonder if I should cut my losses and move on.

Q: What is your long term outlook on oil I read that France and Britain have banned fossil fuels in another 25 years Consumption in the US has not shown any growth because of the fuel efficiency of the newer engines.

Volvo is going to stop producing gasoline engines in another three years

Canada does not seem to want to compete because of our carbon tax position

I almost want to throw in the towel on all my oil positions because I see consumption decreasing and oil supply increasing

Could you let me know your long term thoughts on oil as an investment and your recommendations
