Q: Good afternoon, Peter & Co.
Considering your recent comments and analysis would you recommend that I sell my SIA and buy EXE? Also, I have had a decent run with CNE and it may now be overvalued. I am slightly underweight in the energy sector. Would you recommend selling CNE and moving to different energy company? I own High Arctic and Brookfield Renewable as well as small positions in Tourmaline and Crius. Dividends are not very important to me. I am underweight in the energy sector.
With appreciation.

Q: Could you please give me your opinion on Tourmaline's last financials and your thoughts on Nat Gas stocks going forward.
Q: I have to reduce energy component and am thinking of selling Veresen (VSN) and Crescent Point (CPG) Do you see any compelling reason not to sell either of these 2 stocks.

Q: Hello Peter et al.
What is your opinion of the latest 3rd Q results released today? Looks like they did some additional hedging out to the end of 2017. Stella is now predicted to start by the end of this month. It had a nice run-up today in Canada but not much movement in the SP in the U.K. Hopefully it continues to go higher.
Regards,
Brendan

Q: In oil and gas I currently own ENB and WCP which gives me half of what I need in the sector. I was thinking of purchasing PKI and BIR to finish my position. Do you think these are good picks?
Q: I am an 87 yr old retiree living on dividend income. I have a reasonable holding of CPG in both my regular investment account and also in my TFSA, both of which are currently in substantial loss positions. Obviously, a recovery is in large part dependent on the price of oil. At my age it doesn't look likely that I will recover my losses. I'm thinking of selling the shares in my investment account & using the loss to shelter some gains. If there is an excess, I may sell some of a profitable holding and then buy those back after the 30 day period [a strategy I have used before]. I'm also wondering if I should bite the bullet and switch my holding in the TFSA to something else. Should I sell now or is there a reasonable chance of a substantial increase in value in, say, the next year.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: what is the closest proxy to CPG that you can think of? I want to sell for a superficial loss, however, I don't want to be out of the market for 30 days.
Q: Can you please comment on PXT results. Thank you.
Q: Please rank these three energy stocks in order of preference. Thanks, Barrie
Q: Hi, Parkland Fuel stock continues to get pounded every day since its recent earnings release, losing over 10% of its value. It was mentioned as a baby Alimentation Couche Tard. Today, ATD.b stock price also showed considerable weakness. I have just started to wonder if there is a rotation out of these consumer names which have done well in past. And, if so, do you see this trend persisting, since money seems to be moving into banks, industrials and energy/material stocks. I have a small position in ATD.b but just doubled my PKI holding to overweight and feel a little concerned. Thanks for your valued advice.
Q: Hello,
What is your current opinion on PSI? I am hearing that Trump may not be positive for Canadian oil as he is pro drilling causing an over supply. I don't own any oil. Would support services be a safer way to get oil exposure? If you don't like PSI what are your other recommendations?

Q: Could I please get your opinion Q3 results for HWO and TOG.
Q: Is the huge Debt an issue? a BNN guest said they were shorting ENB because of that. Would ENF be safer?
Many Thanks!
Many Thanks!
Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, and team,
In a recent BNN "Top Picks", Daniel Lloyd recommended shorting EMA because of their high debt. He states: "Emera, having recently purchased TECO, is now saddled with $14.7 billion in debt which represents a roughly 13x debt/cash flow ratio on a stock that trades an excessive 18x earnings multiple." Not that I'm contemplating shorting EMA, but looking at a gain of 21%, would you recommend staying the course with EMA, or switching to something like FTS which you seem to like more? Or, assuming appropriate balance among the sectors, would you recommend something else entirely? EMA is presently held in a TFSA, along with CAR.UN, DHX.B, KXS, GUD, PBH, and SIS. All except DHX.B are up, and SIS is up 108%. :) Thank you for your terrific recommendations and on-going advice and insight.

Q: Curious to know your thoughts about Birchcliff Energy's earnings and implementation of a dividend. Their projections seem very realistic and attractive.
Q: Hi. I own QST and and am down more than 80%. Where do you see QST in 5 years from now? Would you sell it or add to an existing position at these levels? If so would you add to 1/2 position or full position? Thanks
