Q: Looking to take a position in either IMO or CNQ. Capital appreciation is more important than dividend income. Which would you prefer and why. Thank you.

Q: First off, thanks for your unbiased opinions over the years they have been great. I had always been looking for an entry in to CNQ. I reviewed all the questions on it and bought in at $37.00 +- for a long term hold 6.4 dividend. Maybe it will go lower but in 20 years time it will not matter. Thanks Steve
Q: Thoughts on todays acquisition please.

Q: Hello Team,
With LNG export a much more acceptable business in the US, would you recommend EXE. US ahead of TOU or ARX in Canada.
Thank You,
Barry

Q: This morning you suggested NNRG as a potential ETF for oil and gas sector and that it is more aggressive. Could you share what the top 10 holdings are and at what percentage of the ETF they are please.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: the new WCP currently has a near 10% yield - red flag territory? What is the payout ratio based on current oil prices - and has WCP had to cut its dividend in the past?
Is insider ownership decent?

Q: Hello
Can PHYS, GLCC, GDXY and XGD be held in TFSA/RRSP accounts?
Is this collection a good mix?
Would AMAX be a better option than some of the aforementioned and if so, which would you replace with AMAX / drop completely.
Thank you.

Q: With energy stocks lower due to this trade war, would this be a good time to look at getting into this sector assuming it would be through an energy ETF? If so, do you have a few names that trade in Canada that provide a decent return, and some safety through a lower payout ratio? Thanks for your insight.
Q: What is the difference between TRP and SOBO? Which one would be most effected by the current tariffs? Which one would you prefer for income account?

Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNQ $67.39)
-
Shopify Inc. Class A Subordinate Voting Shares (SHOP $171.50)
-
Constellation Energy Corporation (CEG $320.41)
Q: What is the outlook and past performance for CNQ, CES, CEG and SHOP? Do you think its outlook is still intact? Would you buy / sell today?
The trend from past performance for CEG looks quite good. How heavily dependent is CEG on AI demand?
Thank you for your valued insights.

Q: What are your current thoughts on CNE? Gas prices in Columbia have increased and the political situation doesn't seem as precarious as a few years ago.
Q: I am puzzled as to why the pipeline stocks have been dropping substantially over the last few days. I would have expected these companies to hold up quite well as they are basically a toll road for oil and gas with a good dividend. I considered pipeline stocks as a good defensive holding. What am I missing?
Q: Having missed the initial SOBO run-up, I see it's off 15% due to the pipeline incident. Would it be a buy here or has it become to risky now?
Q: Do we know the date when the sale of INE will close?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: Would you consider taking a 27% hit on whitecap for tax loss and replace it with Bep.un to get the 7% yield I was getting with white cap before the nose dive. Do you consider the dividend to be secure along with better growth? Tks. Larry
Q: Good Morning,
Do you think it is worth adding to Brookfield Renewable at today's price ?? Its price behaviour is certainly unlike FTS or other electrical utility sector stocks. Would it make more sense to replace it with BAM ?? I am looking for income and some growth. I would appreciate your expert opinion. Thank you. DL

Q: It has been suggested that this time of volatility is a good opportunity for upgrading the quality of one’s investments. It has also been suggested that one not panic and do anything precipitously. I currently hold WCP and TVE, not surprisingly at a considerable loss; many commentators point to CNQ as top grade. What is your view of selling the 2 and replacing with CNQ - switch or hang tough? Many thanks.
Q: your view of purchasing for a long term hold. Does it produce heavy oil used in american refineries? Cheers
