Q: Following the presidential debate it sounds like Biden has a fairly aggressive stance towards a switch to clean energy. Also, he seems intent on renewing spending on infrastructure. I already hold Algonquin and ICLN in the so called clean energy sector. Any others i should look at there? And what might profit from infrastructure spending, should Biden win.
Thanks

Q: I have both in my RRIF. BIR has moved very well last 2 weeks and I am making small amount of money. Still down with TOU . Should I keep both for time being, have held them for quite a while. I could put the money in another stock, or top up TOU for dividend.With topaz starting maybe TOU would increase DIV sometime in future. Tks for helping in past

Q: I realize this topic has been discussed before but I still cannot understand the continued widening spread between these two securities. The spread between BEPC and BEP.UN has now widened to almost $20. Seems way overdone. If I wanted to add in a registered plan which would you recommend and why. Do you believe BEP.UN would eventually increase relative to BEPC.
Thanks for your service.

Q: I intend crystallizing a loss on CNQ and was trying to decide on buying a company in roughly the same business so that I stay in the market segment. SU might be the obvious choice but have some already. Can you suggest some alternatives from the those noted or others, preferably with a divided.
Btw I find the dividend updates very useful.
Thanks

Q: Good morning 5i team;
About 1/3 of my portfolio is invested in the pipelines and mid-stream companies. It appears that the future will be focused on ESG, climate change and reduced consumption of fossil fuels. With these trends in mind, in your opinion, how will my current portfolio of pipeline and mid-stream stocks survive the transition to a low carbon future?

Q: I'm wondering why there is so much investment interest in renewable power. As far as I know these companies are highly subsidized by governments and they pay no taxes. What is going to happen when renewable energy companies have to face the same rules as do non-renewable energy compaines?

Q: Earlier this year I bought some shares in Boralex which has done very well for me so far. I am thinking now might be a good time to invest further in green energy companies and was hoping you might be able to point me in the right direction. Should I buy more Boralex? Or are there other companies that I should be buying now? Thanks!
